The night wasn’t too chilly and Na Na couldn’t help but stare at how handsome Qing Yang looked.

Qing Yang sensing her attention on felt smug that she was immersed in him. He did so love teasing her when he asks her if she needed a story.

The snappy comeback that she wasn’t a child amuses him. He could tell she wasn’t sure why he was in the same room as her, but from what he read online it was good for sick people to have those they love sleep beside them. To keep them company and at the same time he wanted to ensure that she was well careful and unable to run off again.

He didn’t like she went to the hospital without him. The naïve behavior was something he enjoyed the way she grip his hand to sleep with was comforting. He wouldn’t mind one day they sleep together and he would hold her.

Qing Yang just never thought the next day the bad news would come and he would have broken a few cups in front of Na Na and see her scared eyes look at him with immense worry.

“Qing Yang?” Na Na hobbles closer and peers into his eyes trying to figure out what happened.

Qing Yang couldn’t stop himself the paper was on the floor and his hand reaches out to clasp Na Na close. Burying his face into her hair as he felt the rage embed away, he couldn’t let Zi Feng see him this way.  The heart brokenness inside of himself over that one name he noted for the limited edition cuff link. The name Wu Wan Hao was like red to his sight and he didn’t want to view it. He knew that Zi Feng would piece together his thoughts too, and that it would be terrible because both of them respected the man.

Na Na hands were brushing his hair softly and she was whispering that she was here finally gotten through to him. He pulls back and felt her drag him at her snail pace to the couch and settle beside him. “What’s wrong?”

“The discovery of someone that I respected and love…this…will hurt our family.” Qing Yang whispered his voice choked up.

“Will it hurt General Manager?” Na Na asked gently.

Qing Yang nods his fingers stroking her cheek after he pull back, “And your father…”

“Oh.” Na Na voice became smaller, “Do you want me to go shoot the person that hurt you and dad?”

Stunned, Qing Yang gave a hoarse laugh that coupled with disbelief, “Thanks for the thought.” He whispered, “Just hold onto me some more until I can try to sort…”

Arms wrap around him drawing him to her lap, he buried his face into her stomach willing away the horrors that his mind was streaming through, he would have to face this situation himself, but he appreciated Na Na’s support of him. The terrible choice wouldn’t be his own, but rather that of Zi Feng. His Bro would be hurt so badly and he didn’t like that, and yet all would fall to his leader to make decisions on Wu Wan Hao’s fate.

After a few hours past and he gotten a grip on his feelings, Qing Yang slid up and stroke Na Na hair, “Thank you.”

“I don’t mind at all.” Na Na lips curve upward, “I am just glad that I could be a family for you here…do you want me to go with you?”

A breath was intake into his chest, “No…I don’t want that man to ever get a look at you.” Qing Yang said his chest grip in fear of what ifs.

“If that would make you feel comfortable, then I will respect that.” Na Na said, “But make sure General Manager is alright…and yourself…” Na Na pats his wrist, “Also make sure my dad doesn’t cry.”

“I will try.” Qing Yang said and he move grabbing a broom to sweep the floor, “Just sit there…you still aren’t mobile.”

Na Na eyes watches him work silently going back and forth. “I will watch the store…”

“Thanks.” Qing Yang swallows and grabs his jacket to go.

The conversation with Zi Feng was hard; he tried to remain silent and neutral about the whole ordeal. As he asked his questions as to what his leader would do.

Zi Feng said stoically after a period of time, "I will have to think about it." His eyes narrows, "But I want you to set up the meeting at the temple."

Qing Yang nods, "Who do you want there?"

"You, Ya Nuo, my mother, my sister, and Uncle Tian, we will meet with Uncle Wu there..." Zi Feng turns, "Let me think on how to address the situation as it comes, but also I will let you tell Uncle Tian, whilst I brief the others...after a few more thoughts." The heaviness of the mantle of leader was evident in Zi Feng's stance.

The three family have always stuck it together, but to think that someone could have broken oath and perhaps known what happened to Zi Feng's father and his parents all this time were unthinkable.

The day came fast when the meeting happened and Qing Yang stood with Uncle Tian the man kept insisting there was a good reason. He couldn't believe that Wan Hao could have anything to do with Big Brother Du and Qing Yang's parent’s disappearance. However, the meeting was called and Qing Yang watches Zi Feng confront Wan Hao.

The conversations were devastating for Qing Yang, discovery that Wan Hao had made his parents disappear because they witness him drug trafficking and were going to report him in. It hurt so badly, his parents, his hope of seeing them again were all dashed. Wan Hao killed them and he wanted to run and shake that older man for what he done.

Just because of profit and gain, his parents had died for such a twisted crime. The arms of Zi Feng prevented him from moving and all Qing Yang could do was shed tears of anger and disbelief. Betrayed by the family he served the one branch that broken blood oath and did harm toward that of his own blood sworn brother and to his parents.

Yet, Qing Yang couldn't keep this nagging feeling that something was off, why did the man confessed? But the feelings of pain and the thoughts of his parents being dead and never were going to come back. Felt like a knife stabbing him constantly in his chest, even when that man said he would compensate for what happened to his parents.

How could that man possible consider any form of compensation? Seven years of lost time wondering and waiting all for nothing, and the man even had the nerve to smile and live happily. Qing Yang returned back to the cafe and sat in the chair staring out the window wondering at all that was lost.

The hours passed by when finally the sound of clacking and arms wrap around his shoulders. Fixing his jacket so that he wouldn't be cold, "What are you thinking?" Na Na gave him comfort even though she never asked for anything and he felt himself opening up.

He spoke sadly, "Did you know? That year, when I heard news of my parent’s disappearance. I didn't cry. Because I believe they are still alive." He had always believed that there was no way they would have left him.

He continue on, "Because of certain reasons they are unable to come back immediately. For the past seven years. I held onto this small hope that I believe my parents will come back one day. As time goes by my hopes gradually diminished." His eyes were dry at this moment; his tears were spent in the car.

"But when Uncle Du came back, I reignited my hopes again. I thought...now that Uncle Du is back, my parents will come back soon too. I didn't expect. They are dead." Qing Yang voice dulled and he felt the arms around him tighten.  It hurt more the way his parents had died, "And they died...in the hands of their most trust able, good friend. They won't ever come back and my last stray hope of them coming back is gone."

The clack noise beside him and Na Na pulling his head into her chest she whispered as she gave her warm to him, "You have me. You still have me. I will always be next to you, and I will never leave you."

Qing Yang closes his eyes; he never thought that he would have someone to comfort him when the mystery of his parents was revealed. That he would grip tight onto those arms and hold on tight as she presses his face against her chest and he felt the trickle of tears finally leak out.

"Don't leave." Qing Yang whispered.

"I won't..." Na Na whispered softly, "I am here...I am right here."

The pull of her warmth and he let her lead him off the chair to the couch where he curl with her on it. Holding tight he didn't release he fell asleep on her and how discomforted she maybe.

Later that night, while he fixed himself and Na Na food. His cellphone beeped.

Du Zi Feng: Qing Yang come meet me at this location. (GPS Coordinate)
Wei Qing Yang: Why at the pier?
Du Zi Feng: I am going to charter a boat. Write your wishes to Uncle and Auntie Wei.
Wei Qing Yang: I see. Is it okay if I bring Na Na?
Du Zi Feng: If that is what you wish. I am sure your father and mother would like to meet her.
Wei Qing Yang: Thanks Bro.
Du Zi Feng: No Thanks is needed. We are brothers.

"Can you go with me tomorrow? Zi Feng wants to meet us..." Qing Yang asked.
Na Na look curious but nods her head, "Okay, I will just go shower now...and get ready for an early night, since you said morning time."

"Yes, I will meet you in your room." Qing Yang echoes and he turned toward his room to grab the paper and the pen. He took Zi Feng words to heart and started to write.

Dear Mother and Father,

I am doing well. It’s been seven years since I had seen you both and I miss you dearly. Don't worry; Uncle Tian and Zi Feng have been beside me. If you can believe it, Uncle Tian has a daughter called Na Na. She is a very special person to me and I wish you could have met her. Mother you would have enjoy her very much, she can't cook, but her nature would brighten up your day by her child like innocence.

Father, I know you and mother both love and trusted that man and it sadden me by what had happened. I do promise I will try my best to overcome my feelings, because I know you don't want me to go for revenge or any other nonsense since it would affect my life and spiral it to the wrong way.

I am positive Zi Feng and Uncle Tian will try their best to help me. But I have someone else to consider now and that is Na Na.

She promise me to stay beside me and I believe she will try her best, and so mother and father I will live. Make a life with Na Na and I hope you can watch over both of us because I plan to make you both grandparents even though you aren't here.

I promise I will be happy and live with her until I die, because you both did do that even though you went too early.

Father and Mother, please take care of each other and maybe one day we will unite with one another.

Love Your Devoted Son,

Wei Qing Yang.

The early morning came and Na Na shivers in her coat. Qing Yang carrying the message in his pocket that he wrote quietly stuffed hot packs into her pockets to keep her warm. "I need to purchase better jacket for winter breezes." He murmurs as he squeezes her hand taking comfort in her presence.

Na Na asked, "Why did General Manager asked you to come to the sea?"

"I guess he wants me to get closer to my mom and dad." Qing Yang rub her hand.

"Your buddies are so thoughtful." Na Na said with a bright smile, it didn't rub him wrong but instead he drew in her rays.

"Yes." Qing Yang was appreciative of how understanding of buddies he had.

The two familiar figures at the end and near the boat already waiting warm Qing Yang, "Zi Feng."

Na Na chirps. "General Manager!"

"Okay...lets go." Zi Feng said after hugging Qing Yang. The boat took off and a bottle was on the table. Qing Yang slid the paper he wrote into it and stared at the ocean.

The first time he saw Na Na was on a boat and the wind were blowing, and now instead of strangers she was beside him.

The letter he wrote was personal and told about how he was doing and his wishes. The tossing of the bottle and the promises from her energetic behavior wiped away how sober this event was...saying his peace with his parents.

The exiting of the boat and helping of Na Na to the cafe was monotony that he drew comfort in. Na Na body was glue to his in hugs and he liked that very much. He made his decision to talk to Uncle to ask permission to take Na Na as his wife. He realize that life wasn't a point for him to wait anymore, any moment like Zi Feng said was a loss of time with the person they love.

Checking up on Na Na he noted that she was asleep and smoothing her blanket, he notice the movement and picked up Guo Lai. "Come along...your mama is asleep." Carrying the bunny down he whispered softly, "Let’s get you feed."

"Where is Na Na?" Xing Tian asked curiously as he watches Qing Yang place the bunny down to sip the water bowl.

Qing Yang gave a smile, "Asleep."

"Try this. What is the difference between your coffee and mine?" Uncle Tian set down a coffee cup in front of him.

Sipping the coffee and drawing in the taste, Qing Yang look amused, "The coffee you brew is tastier."

Xing Tian laughs softly, "Qing Yang, I am very thankful that you put on this act with me." The man was embarrassed, "Na Na didn't find out you were aware she was unwell. I want to thank you for accompany Na Na when she needs you the most. Giving her the love that she wanted. Taking care of her and loving her with me."

A grateful feeling entered Qing Yang heart, "Uncle all these years you took care of me. You treated me as your family. Na Na is your daughter; it is something I should do." It was quite true he had nowhere to go, sure Zi Feng would have provided, but the open way Xing Tian had open his doors to him and professed that this was his home touched him deeply. "Besides, she is someone I want to take care of forever." He wanted to be part of Xing Tian's family for real through the bond, and at the same time to hold on tightly to the precious gift.

Xing Tian eyes lit with understanding, "Qing Yang, if it’s you. I would be absolutely relaxed to hand over my previous daughter to you." The approval was a relief for Qing Yang because it meant that there was trust and that there was no way he would be tested so hardly for Na Na's hand.

"Thank you Uncle." Qing Yang breathed out in relief.

"Eh. I've newly imported this coffee." Xing Tian said slyly, "Can you taste what bean it is?"

The familiar burst of taste and Qing Yang gave amused smirk, "Is it mandheling?"

Xing Tian nods his head, "You understand my heart and my coffee." It was always obvious that he spent enough time that Mandheling was the normal ingredient he used in most of his coffee as the base.

Qing Yang gave a bright smile as he pet his bunny daughter feeding her some vegetables. "I will request from Zi Feng the ring that is in the Wei vault."

"Even though your parents didn't have much at least they still retained your grandmother’s items." Xing Tian look up at the ceiling in memory.

"Mmm." Qing Yang hums in thought, "I don't know about mother's ring, but the jade bracelets and the hair pieces should be intact."

Pulling up the phone he signal to Zi Feng.

Wei Qing Yang: Zi Feng, can I get access to the Wei Vault?

Du Zi Feng: Yes. Do I hear happy bells somewhere?

Wei Qing Yang: I want to access it to find a few pieces for Na Na.

Du Zi Feng: Uncle Tian should have a few items too. But I understand you and will have the key ready for you and the vault number.

 Wei Qing Yang: Thank you.
