There are moments when mind fades and memory becomes part illusion and hallucination.

Ja-ae always believes that with stress mistakes could happen. With the hot climate that was sweltering in Uruk and the sand. She was just getting herself together, it was only yesterday that her shoes were uselessly broken and torn from all the rough work she has done.

Running along the sandy roads of this rural region. The military didn't provide any form of boots of foot wear and so what she brought just two pair of shoes. Didn't seem enough. If she knew that Uruk would be limited she would have purchased hard worker shoes or at least the type that made running easy.

The mail from Korea came and already she could tell the excitement of the medic and soldiers. Korea was far away and the wishes for comfort and certain items such as Korean food linger among everyone. Surely, Captain Yoo was gracious enough to share red ginseng to the medicube so at least they had a sample of home.

Sang-Hyun came harrowing in looking like a chicken that had his feathers ruffled. Ja-ae wonder what was so important for the man to look through boxes, she doesn't recall his friends being that great to send him anything.

"What are you doing?" Ja-ae watches boxes go flying.

"I order it from Korea!~' Sang-Hyun said excitedly and started to tear through the box that he found and open the lid to present it to Ja-ae relevantly. "Here you go...240 mm~!" Then he walked away with a swagger.

Ja-ae huffs, "Hey!"

Sang-Hyun acts all puffy with his back to her raising his hand, "No thanks is needed..."

"I wear 230 mm." Ja-ae said testing and watches the clown prance away saying that no one will know. The bastard got one thing right she did wear a size bigger since she didn't like her toe stubbed. She glances down at the white shoes and gave a small smile, "At least he remember..."

The time with Sang-Hyun was difficult for Ja-ae when she use to be in medical school with him. She always had to practice with his arm when she was struggling to draw blood. Messing up his veins, but he would always let her even though he protested like a baby.

She wasn't sure what to say when the virus made appearance and Doctor Song as she call his professional appearance had come down with a cold or flu symptoms. It worried her and once confirm case of M virus she and the rest immediately isolated him into the ward.

Ja-ae wore the shoes he got for her she was exhausted taking blood from soldiers and people always wearing the gear to keep safe from infections. Whenever she look at Sang-Hyun her chest tighten and she feel this part hate and affection for the louse.

That man was such a pain!
