The Medi-Team left overs were returned back to Korea and we see them from the last episode heading toward work at the Hospital. Whereas Yoo Shi Jin, Seo Dae Young with the rest of Team Alpha and Army Surgeon Myung Joo has yet to be ship back to Korea.
Instead the arriving back to the hospital they are greeted with a banner, the Hae Sung Hospital staff and the chairman. Doctor Song thought that the greeting them back included him. We all known that the Chairman is there to greet mostly Mo Yeon and Chi Hoon.
The Chairman complained to Chi Hoon in regards to his mother because Chi Hoon mother was making threats and driving him insane. Though the guy doesn't know that his treatment of Chi Hoon would mean not so good repercussion if Chi Hoon's mother hears what the chairman said. XD
I suppose the two best friends miss one another very much. Inside Doctor Pyo office Mo Yeon is telling her about the explosion she saw and that everything collapsed around her and became a mess. Her heart racing and her mind becoming numb. Doctor Pyo thought she was talking about love but instead she is referring to the Earthquake that had occurred. That statement of her being in love and she immediately got onto the manager of the Operation room case saying that he was the one that told everyone that she was dating. She wanted to find out who the mole is...haha
Doctor Pyo trying to cover up saying everyone already knew she is dating and talking about that man. It was true in episode 2 she was smitten with the guy x-ray image. Doctor Pyo ask her friend how it is going out with a man in special forces. Mo Yeon said that you would know what to do if your car is hanging on a cliff also how to get out of a minefield and what to do when you are held hostage while wearing a bomb.Of course no one that wasn't in that situation believe she is telling tales and that it couldn't possibly be real.
The two love birds are on the phone together, it look like night time in Uruk and Shi Jin is asking Mo Yeon if she is happy to be back in Korea. Daytime in Korea, Mo Yeon stated she kind of misses Uruk because there are no singing soldiers here and that Shi Jin isn't in Korea either. Shi Jin being astute asked if Mo Yeon misses him or the soldiers. Ah...the jealousy. 
Being coy she said she miss the peace in Uruk. When referring to peace it also could derive that of the Peace that Shi Jin maintains while in Uruk. Changing subject he asked if she would become busy again now that she is back in Korea. Mo Yeon confirm she is going to resign and open her own hospital and that she made a down payment for a building she is investing in. Curiously she asked how much an Captain gets paid and whether or not he would be able to provide for her if she went broke.
Shi Jin getting shocked by her words just said 'hello' like he couldn't hear her. Talk about making us feel you aren't going to get married to each other or the teasing might be occurring. Mo Yeon narrow her eyes and stated that she feel their relationship as become as bad as the reception and that she is going to hang up.
Thinking of a fast response with amusement Shi Jin wittily sais that if Mo Yeon went broke he would provide a spot for her in Team Alpha so she doesn't need to worry. Wow he would get her a job in his team...really? He stated she has more experience then more soldiers on active duty. Of course he cannot stand seeing her in danger so we all know this is in jest but to reassure him she told him she won't go broke.
Director Han Seok Won of Hanseng Hospital is gripping is plaque, Mo Yeon went to see him to talk. Immediately the director he said he wanted to address about the day at the hotel that he was imprudent thinking he could do that. Just simply take her there and get into bed with her...seriously in reality if someone did that...it would result in sexual harassment lawsuit and charges if they got far enough to rape.
How can he be that surprise that it didn't work with Mo Yeon, how many other woman did this guy bed using this method? Mo Yeon just retorted that she is the first woman to every hit him and she said he is quite something. She address the director as Mr. Han Seok Won and he got shocked that she is being distant with him instead of his title. Mo Yeon informed him she is turning in her resignation.
Director Han stunned informed her that he has no intention of accepting her resignation. Well that's a surprise, unless he still wants her, which then would explain that his pride is hurt and he is still going to try his luck since she keep refusing him. Mo Yeon immediately said that he could resign instead normally this would mean the opposition would accept the document immediately but he held off. He asked her if she is heartless but obviously she is still upset over everything she ask he accept it by the end of the week. However, the director said she is really arrogant but that is why he likes her...but seriously...we all know that this woman has surgical skills.
Going to the bank Mo Yeon realize that the loan was disapproved because originally she was part of the big hospital and head a steady paid job. However, now she is no longer with them that would mean that they don't want to invest in the risk. Of course she asked what to do and the banker just called the next client. 
Inside the medicube Myung Joo is still in the sick bed but with lots of text books and reading up information and studying. Dae Young is spending time with her and listening to her talking. They are talking about how she is at risk as a doctor and army soldier but she told him she is happy with her status. Shi Jin interrupt with a message telling them that he got a transfer for Myung Joo back to Korea.
Surprise she asked how this happen and if her father pull string, Shi Jin said he influence the Battalion Commander. He asked if they don't want the transfer offer he can cancel it but they ended up snatching it back. So he went to talk to the Battalion Commander saying that Myung Yoo is sick and almost suffer death and he said she might be disappointed if Battalion commander send her to the US medical corps. He got so offended that he asked if Shi Jin is threatening him but it is working and he really got her transfer paper through.
Receiving a phone call Mo Yeon cries out please help me. Shi Jin immediately thought she is in danger, but heard about the financial issue and that she quit her job.Shi Jin stated to her that she should of gone to bank to get the loan before turning in resignation of course being with the other medical team they are in conversation they inform her to apologize to the director.
The table shake and all of the medic staff from Uruk immediately duck under the table the people in the hospital wonder what is going on seeing as outside construction is happening. This is consider PTSD from the war they were in and the earthquake so their reaction is really expected. No one in South Korea can understand unless they have been that situation constantly.
Presenting flowers to the Director she said that she wanted to stay in the hospital since she has been there for eight years and all of a sudden he knew her loan was not approved. However, the guy seem pleased but instead of letting her to do VIP he has her work in the Emergency Room. Though to be honest her skills are the best and better to be a surgery and that is one thing that shouldn't be lost.
A three people accident collision occurred and immediately she goes to the surgical ward telling them she won't do much anymore just the Emergency Room and all that jazz. Chi Hoon is with his wife looking at the fetus and that one week is to go along before birth. In the cafe getting her food Mo Yeon headed to grab food and meet the spoiled doctor lady that cannot do surgery.
The woman believe that the whole medical team did nothing which peeve off the whole group and they wanted to take her down because she doesn't know how much they suffer. On the roof of Haesung hospital Ha-Ae tell Doctor Song she thank him for helping to pay for her sister education. That she would be giving him payment and to take it out of the principal.
Back in the Barrack all the soldiers are doing mask and taking care of their skin since they are returning back to Korea. Snoopy asked what they are doing to have time to do this and Dae Young asked if he was one of them. Surprised he said no. Dae Young listening to the boys took off his mask to put on Snoopy and told the guys to teach him how to apply it.
Outside instead of getting fresh air he is thinking about his choice he has to make when he get back to Korea. Myung Joo released from the medicube went to seek him and he immediately place her on the rock to sit and block the sun from her so that she won't get burn. He block the sun and she complain he didn't even open his present and if she is so pretty that he has to block the sun. Dae Young said he love her and we can see Myung Joo shock and she asked if they are breaking up. She is all freaked out. Dae Young kept on saying that he love her very much and forever. Myung Joo said that is why they broke up but Dae Young said they won't break up and he is positive. Don't make false promise Dae Young!!
At the minefield they take off the sign since the military had disarmed the area. The two of them walk back together holding hands. Returning back to Korea they enter the barrack and Seo Dae Young is at the base signing the paper for discharge. He will quit the military because of his love. The man in charge is debriefing the team and welcoming them back and telling them they got vacation.In the bar area the two men Shi Jin and Dae Young are sitting together they are doing zero nights three days drinking point. They would stay there drinking eating and not sleeping. I guess it is a tradition between the two men. By the time they have consumed close to 20ish bottles and Snoopy joins them while Shi Jin is so drunk he is crying why no one is picking up his phone. He also said he think his phone is drunk. Dae Young said he believe that someone else is drunk meaning Shi Jin. Entering the second day Mo Yeon discover the boys there either passed out or still awake and hammered. Myung Joo is already having kimchi stew but stated she has to eave because she isn't not on vacation.
Zero Nights Three days is what Myung Joo said and she understood. Shi Jin said that the person there is pretty whereas Dae Young said the one that left is prettier. Both are totally wasted. Then night approaches and all of Alpha team and some of the medical team are getting drunk and partying. Both guys almost are passed out and he keep on poking at Dae Young and both guys are out of it. They requested for two more bottles of SoJu and Mo Yeon appeared and presented it then glance to see Doctor Song there. He continues to eat almond for energy boost but he cannot beat the two young bucks. Shi Jin mention that Mo Yeon is the woman from yesterday and that she must of come here every day and he said he would try to talk to her today.
Mo Yeon said he is still alive and surprised Shi Jin asked if she knew who he is...Doctor Song said yes that is your girl friend. He then said oh it is his girlfriend and she is beautiful. Unable to stand it Mo Yeon join in drinking SoJu but Shi Jin passes out during the morning. I suppose this means that things will get interesting.
It is late at night and Shi Jin already sober by the night time bring her to her house. I guess since his girlfriend is now consider intoxicated he will have to be taking care of her and cannot be as drunk. I suppose he has survive the Zero Nights and Three Days tradition.Shi Jin then tries to take off her shoes and she said that she cannot take off her shoes in someone else house just for ramen.
Hearing a noise Shi Jin goes on alert thinking there is a burglar in his girlfriends house. He presses his hand against Mo Yeon mouth and she look confused by his action. He place his finger to his lips for the universal sign for silence. Bending down he grabbing a scarf and going to use it as a weapon. Mo Yeon glances around and said that is her moms coat and her moms purse and oh there is her mom.
Curiously Mrs. Kang asked who the guy is and he presented himself as Yoo Shi Jin, Mo Yeon's boyfriend. Mo Yeon look surprise acting that she has a boyfriend and he is handsome earning a smile. Look like a repeat for earlier when he was drunk and talking to Dae Young. Mo Yeon drunk spew out that his job is a soldier and is special operations. Her mother smack Mo Yeon for being drunk but told him that her daughter is a good girl.
She act all freaked out when she recall more information as flashback happened to her and she told her mother to stop trying to tell him so much information. Her mother said that Mo Yeon never had a guy hold her wrist or do anything wrong. Mrs. Kang asked him why he won't sit down and if he did anything wrong. Of course it freaked out. Mo Yeon even told her mother that Shi Jin knew about the guy doctor before and also the director and of course her mother is happy.Since both of these two are work ol holics and they can survive without being with one another. After all Mrs. Kang mostly spends her daughters money and the girl always is studying and never at home but in the hospital.
Wow tells you a lot about priority of Mrs. Kang. Subway must be getting loads of people and customers due to this being the second time Subway has aired. Shi Jin at subway receive a texted from his girlfriend on the detail of what she want to eat. Presenting the text message to the server and maker of the subway sandwich he pay using his cellphone.At the subway both are just getting into biting into their sandwich when Shi Jin cellphone ring and they both cannot watch the movie together. He told her he has to go to the department store and it look like Mo Yeon is adjusting and so is Shi Jin. He wipe away the mustard from Mo Yeon lips. Their relationship are more solid since both know they have to do what they have to do.
Dae Young comes out dressed up in black suit and black tie, Shi Jin also comes out as well dressed. Operation 1029 is the label that Battalion Command show up stating he is the Commander for it. He informed all of Alpha Team to memorize the routes and information.The material given to the men are pens with poison that they can use that can cause 10 second death. To radios they would wear...talk about drier the sound of this operation. At Koryo Hotel, Pyeongyang the President of North Korea is meeting President of South Korea. Both men entered to do negotiations while North and South Korea soldiers are standing outside guarding.
Standing beside Captain Yoo is Senior Lieutenant Ang. The man that gave Yoo Shi Jin a stab wound in episode 1. The man asked Yoo how he is doing and Yoo replied back if he was here because he got demoted. The man praise him on his wit but noted the pen in Yoo Shi Jin pocket and asked him if he wanted to see who last in minutes minus the pen. Acknowleding he knows it is poisonous but instead of confirming Yoo Shi Jin said that S.L Ang would want his help to write a report. He also noted the pen in S.L Ang pocket too and just stated that he won't go lightly because he is a host. Both side are just testing the water together and seeing they are still solid as ever. Shi Jin made a request since their group is consider guest in Koryo Hotel. If they can have naengmyeon for lunch since he love the taste of traditional Pyeongyang naengmyeon. The food is presented it look like noodles with egg on top. The woman instructed them to sprinkle some vinegar all over the noodles and to add some mustard to the broth for an even better flavor.
He thanked the North Korean soldiers for the meal. S.L. Ang stated to him that the woman is wrong in her instructions instead they smear the mustard directly onto the noodles. Amused he thank the guy for the tip and will treat him when they visit for the next round of talks. S.L Ang stated that a different team will be going then and instead he would be on vacation.
Disappointed Shi Jin said that then he would owe the man a meal instead. S.L. Ang tell him to forget it. The door opened in Haesung elevator and the Director goes into it but already Shi Jin is inside. Director asked how Doctor Kang is doing in Emergency room is she suffering...his secretary said that she is actually pretty cheery. Unhappy he asked if the secretary had send her flowers every day. He secretary confirmed but he said she immediately send it back and it is thanks to her that his office smell so good.
Shi Jin look incredibly pleased that his girlfriend is loyal to him and that she is cute to shove the deliveries back. The Director then asked if the secretary found out who her boyfriend is and the information about him. The Secretary said he asked his friend int he military but he couldn't find anything because most likely the guy is in special forces. Haha! You got that right! He did say he got a photograph but it is basically the photograph of the whole medical team left behind with the soldiers. Looking at the photograph the Director complains there are so many military men and which one is he...
Shi Jin look at the photographs and pointed at himself in the photo and said the guy is born 1983 name is Yoo Si Jin a captain of the Korean army and that he is a Pisces and his blood type is A. Wow...of course the guy is focused on the photograph but realize that Shi Jin is the guy and right as the lift stop and open the door. Shi Jin leaves and the Director hurried after him being hit by the elevator doors.
The Secretary immediately left not wanting to get caught in the cross fire. Leaving the two to talk to one another. Director started to saying that Shi Jin is Mo Yeon boyfriend and bringing his arm out he cracked his arm because that is where he got hit by the elevator door. Shi Jin found it hilarious. The man immediately said it is because of Shi Jin that Kang Mo Yeon refuse his proposal and hurt his pride.
Um...Dude...it wasn't because of Shi Jin she refused she just isn't into you and you were being a dimwit thinking you can get a girl by already wanting to sleep with her just because your her boss. That's a big no no....
Director asked if Shi Jin was good at fighting since he is part of special forces. Shi Jin responded back that Director brought his girlfriend to a hotel for the first date and that he should be careful because in broad day light or night he is a good fighter. That is a subtle threat to the man. The doctor that cannot do surgery asked Mo Yeon to take her shift but the woman told her no.
Consider this Mo Yeon does get extra pay for more hours at the hospital and she does take on other people shift, she absolutely refused to take on this woman and she cannot bully her into it. Haha...good job Mo Yeon! Shi Jin went to seek Mo Yeon and found her but immediately the not good lady doctor flirted with him seeing how handsome he is...Mo Yeon got a bit jealous and drag him away before the woman can latch her claws into him.
Shi Jin at the mall with Mo Yeon walked around and he said that she wouldn't be talking to him this way if she knew whom he bumped into talking too before seeing her. She said was it the director and he said yes then she praise him and went around admiring the fountain changing the subject but he drag her back. His hand reach out to touch her neck looking like he was strangling her but in reality he was measuring her neck.
He pulled out a delicate necklace he purchase for her in shape of a starburst. Wow...bought her a gift...and of course he said he need to give it to her before they meet Seo Dae Young and Myung Joo since it is a private matter. Mo Yeon said normally a person would ask if the other person like it and he said that is true but she said yes it is pretty, but obviously she is just happy he got her something even if she never look at it...haha
Dal.komm Coffee the place where in episode 1 the two men came and sat down. The barista approach with their coffee and mention that its been a while since he had seen the two men. The guy said he see their girlfriend have changed since. WOW. Both girls hackles went up but the man said that the two guys came in with a wolf and rabbit last time. Stuffed animals. Um....it was a squirrel dear...! The two women calm down Dae Young lifted up Myung Joo arm and wave it saying this is my real girlfriend.
Shi Jin wave beside him stating this is my comrade. HAHA Oh my God it like introduction all over from episode 1. Surprised Mo Yeon asked comrade and Shi Jin stated slyly that they both fought and won in Uruk. Both did a fist bump together. The SeoYoon couple stated that they both are here too. Obviously seeing the love bubble between the two.However, Myung Joo asked when they came here and with stuff animals. Shi Jin said that is when he and Myung Joo boyfriend got into a fight against 17 men in order to get his phone back which had Myung Joo's photo in it. He inflated stating it was the most difficult battle he had ever fought. Curious Myung Joo immediately grab Dae Young's phone and use a symbol to open it. Shi Jin continued on talking about the time the phone was stolen was when they were at Haesung hospital and Mo Yeon realize that was the first day they had met and the surveillance footage. Both of them fist bump again. Myung Joo look through saying she thought her photos were all gone and all it is cars. Shi Jin was so upset wondering why he fought for this and Dae Young said that the photographs are the taxi license plates that he put her into to bring her home since both of them are normally drunk.
Since they broke up he delete all of their photographs and the only one that doesn't hurt him as much is that of the license plate images of the taxi he place her in. Mo Yeon felt that is so romantic and Myung Joo said that she fell in love with him all over again. Shi Jin feel sour by Mo Yeon being impressed. Mo Yeon is surprised that Myung Joo knew her boyfriends passcode and she said of course she was the one that set it up. Shi Jin is astonished and said that there is something called a manual that came with the phone.Dae Young said it is fine that is the only password they need to know. Both of them made their way to leave but pretended and still they went to sit back down. The four people are so cute. Inside the car Dae Young is driving Myung Joo home and she call him so cute. He held her hand. Myung Joo realize that she is being driven home and she said it is not right for two adults to go home early on a date. She said that Dae Young has never change and normally those are abroad would change at least and he said if she kept on going on he might not let her go home early.
Satisfied by his words she look happily at him. Myung Joo phone started to ring and he tell her to answer it. Glancing at the screen she knew who it was and immediately cancel the call. Dae Young becoming curious as to why she immediately shut down the call he wonder if it is the Yun Gi guy that had chicken soup with her. The phone rang again and he immediately pressed autodrive for the car that can drive itself. I guess they also are advertising the self driving car that google had presented before?
Answering the phone he told the guy that is spying on him prior that he would have to prepare ramen for him when he got back. Myung Joo said that it is a habit and she cannot change it the guy seem satisfied that she still is jealous and checking up on him.
Dae Young immediately as their car is driving lean closer to her but said it is a punishment, but then he pull her into a kiss. Back at base the spying soldier (Sergeant Kim Beom Rae) for Myung Joo presents Ramen to Dae Young. Dae Young stated that he did a good job making the ramen but it is still made out of flour. Not happy he asked if Kim Beom Rae want to stay by his side or become chewy noodles.
Thus while watching the man he had the guy report to Myung Soo stating the schedule with the list that Dae Young had made while not giving much detail on his schedule. He also mention to Myung Soo that the Yellow Tiger would be back to Korea Tomorrow. Hearing that Dae Young knew his term in the army is coming to a end.
I sense a massive disruption. The next day Myung Joo see Dae Young arrive and she appear happy. Dae Young salute and presented himself to the General Yoon. Myung Joo realize that Dae Young discharge paper and she look so surprised by this. Dae Young stated he will quit as a soldier and the truth came out where she beg General Yoon to let Dae Young to stay in the army.
The giant fight is coming on because the two are in argument about his job where she want him to do what he enjoy versus not what he like. The two fight and Dae Young Pride hurt so much because he was move around so much because he wanted acknowledgement from Myung Joo father not because she asked for it. I guess this is something in regards to being man-Ly. 
I suppose the part where Dae Young aid they didn't mean much together but he feel he look foolish because she interfere between two men. That he doesn't need to be understood just acknowledged. He said that he doesn't htink they both can be together and thus because of this Myung Joo said they should break up then. Myung Joo said if he end up miserable because of her then he can be just happy without her.
The sign behind them says 'If it doesn't work, make it work.' I find this statement funny even though the scene is so sad.
The main lead are inside Mo Yeon home having beer and about to watch a movie together. Mo Yeon finally paid for the movie and both of them are settled together. Mo Yeon asked if they would go back to the beach together to return the stone together. Promising her they both will. Mo Yeon receive a phone call about an emergency. Upset she said she needed to go. I guess this time it is her turn. 
She said they can watch it next time together but he said no he would leave after he finish watching, but I seriously think she won't let him stay inside her home and wait for her to come back to her house. HAHA. Nice try! I seriously doubt she will let you stay in her home and at the same time let you play around in her home ungraded. On Thursday 13:00 the Blue House Secret Service will be in charge of guarding the VIP from North Korea for the second meeting between the South and North Korea. The Korean Army will dispatch Team 707 Alpha, Bravo, and Charlie as backup. Rehearsal will start first before the real event.
Snickers bar is being eaten by Dae Young he had brought two but he ate them both. Shi Jin is jealous because he wanted a snickers bar. But then he realize that Dae Young is depressed and he asked if he got dumped. They both get approached by S.L Ang whom is dressed in black clothes and a hat.
Immediately emergency car comes along and S.L. Ang the North Korean has multiple gun shots, Doctor Song said he would take this patient and that Mo Yeon should take the critical patient.
The next ambulance opened for the critical patient and Mo Yeon see Si Jin covered in blood. Shocked beyond belief at her boyfriends state.

Additional Notes: Someone in soompi mentions in this episode that Shi Jin Mentions that he is born 1983 as a Pisces so it means he is either born Feb. or March.
