He was hers.

He has always been hers, since that moment when he rode forward to grab her on his horse. Claiming her was another thing because she was not moved. The moment his hand wrap around that thin waist and hauling her onto his horse, watching those almond eyes look at him in wonder and confusion. It felt glorious having so much power from that single moment. She was beautiful but he had seen plenty out there.

She never acted scared of him for simply his face, but instead scared of his actions of pointing a sword at her throat. Only a fool would have been stupid not to be scared of that.

He was hers when she touches him without being scared. He was hers when she helped him, seeking him out and yelling at him. Treating him like a normal human without any distractions. She was the first woman that look upon him not as a commodity or even a challenge, but rather human.

She was his when she reaches out to touch his face and granted him back his royal status with the covering of that hideous sin. She couldn’t be anyone else because he would not allow it. 

He needed her. If he had to swing his sword at those in his way, he would because she was Hae Soo, a strange funny girl that look upon him with fondness.Though inwardly she was his because he would look after her and protect her. She would be his responsibility.
