What a strange child. Did she really believe that she can survive in this world being the way she is? It was silly to think that she believes that living without manners or knowledge meant she can live.

So why did he let her live? It was puzzling and incredibly infuriating. 

Who was she? A peasant compare to a Prince even though she has a status of a maiden and protection of Wang Wook. A cousin of his wife and when he saves her, he didn’t think anything of it. Normally he would have let her fallen and perish as an accident. She wasn’t supposed to be outside but she wander around like those commoners. 

He never believes that she was so interesting. The way she would tremble before him made him feel incredibly empowered and yet a part of him became gentler with her. A woman that stood up to him was incredibly rare. He recall her name Hae-Soo.

Did she not know who he was?  Wasn’t she afraid of his face? She was the only one to see his ugly face but she didn’t flinch from that. She only wilted when it came to his physical presence. She wanted to live. Such an interesting conception, he wanted to live too.

He didn’t want to go back to that other place as a hostage, he wanted to live and breathe and be free, but even the cage he was in the palace wasn’t nothing compare to the outside prison he was place in. His parents how he loathed and wish for their approval, but all he gotten was scraps of nothing.

Hwangbo Yeon-Hwa a beauty that would tend to him at first interested in him but there was no way for him and her. Besides he didn’t want anything to do with Wang Wook. He always left him with a bitter taste, a man that rose up as prince because of a sick wife; he heard the rumors and the information of how fortunate that man was to have someone love him.

Wang So wasn’t lying when he said he wanted someone to be with him for simply that reason to care for him and nothing else. What was wealth or status? It left him alone and warmth was something he craved even as he pushes everything and everyone away that he fear would betray him. He didn’t live this long without his hackle raised and hoping just simply hoping someone would see beyond his prickly demeanor.

 

The only one that seen to see beyond him was that crazy maiden Hae-Soo. He felt himself become more encapsulated approaching her to scare her or surprise her. She was a strange one.
