Summary:  It's a dog eat dog world out there....luckily he won the lottery.

The life of a dog isn't easy and it isn't tough. 

The first memory of the beige dog was waking up to cold and wetness. To the barks and whines of his sister and brothers. Then suddenly a face of a kind strange lifting them up and making soft gentle noises at them.

The second sensation was being rubbed by towels and two other strangers coming into view. Another male and one female, he was happy being warmed up but he felt weak. The man that was holding him and drying him smelled like some sort of hair spray, which he later on identified. He would label him the man that chase the girl. 

Day in day out the stranger that pick him up from outside gave him food and foul tasting stuff. Then slowly one by one by his siblings were taken away until there was only him. He felt incredibly lonely, his pack mates were gone and only he was left. There wasn't much warmth for a dog like him. 

But that started to change, twice a week the kind female came cuddling him and petting him. She was so warm but he wonder why she couldn't stay long with him. She would always wear these nice cloth over her body, he knew what they were because his pick up stranger always put him in blue sweater, he learn what blue meant but he couldn't really see the color. 

His master as he now call the long coat man would talk to him and play with him. Even take him on walks. The words Chubby kept on being mention until he realizes it's his name. His ear would twitch at those calls and though he was allow to run around in the park and eat wonderful food. 

His most hated point when in the mans care was bath time. He never did like water every since he was found in a box almost drowned. So he whines as the man would rub soap that smell into him and dry him with a towel. Chubby did like going out however, and there was one day the female came, he heard her name is Ya Nuo and recognize that with the hair spray man, set him into a nice car. 

It was comfortable and plush and he could put his paws on the cushion and watches whether it indent with his weight. Yes, Chubby was happy and he hoped over the arm rest to sat on the female and sniff her face and scent. His little tail wagging along happily. 

Then he got to meet other people they were nice, there was another female named Na Na and he like how she would touch his ears. He sniff her and look at her wondering why there was a sick smell to her and so he stuck close to her. Laying near her feet during the time they ate food always looking up hoping for a treat. 

Everything smelled nice, then he was once again brought back to his home as he label it, but master wasn't there. His life was pretty much like a pattern now eat, sleep, play, or chase his balls. There were many balls. 

Then one day his master was gone no longer around him and he look around at the new human taking care of him wondering where he had gone. Then time passed only the female would come and slowly he started to call her mistress. 

Until he was taken away from the new place to a house that was big and a large yard with wonderful scents that he could just run about to smell and learn. The door swung open and he look around the place was huge!

There were nice seats that he label couches and all of these wonderful places to hide and run around. He was set on his feet and look up at his mistress and the hair spray man came along, he woof confused. 

Ya Nuo lean down and pet his head, "Chubby...this is your new home..." She said softly, "We can now spend time together...since we now live with people without allergies."

"Speak for yourself..." Zi Feng called out grumpily, "You brought your love child with Zhe Rui here..."

"You agreed though..." Ya Nuo bickers, "You have a soft spot for Chubby too..you don't want him to be alone too. Being at that clinic being watch while Zhe Rui is on his walk about is too much and it's taking him this long."

"Yes...yes...but if he pees on me...we are taking him to a trainers...no way can he pee on me." Zi Feng complains.

Ya Nuo laughs, "Yes...yes...whatever you say..." She bend down and cooes at Chubby, "Remember to pee in his shoes..."

"HEY!" Zi Feng yells.

Chubby watches the two silly human and snorts out a breath, he was still glad he got to stay in comfort he knew what it was being outside. He did win the lottery, but did the lottery mean he have to constantly smell the two humans wanting to mate with one another? He padded along and saw a nice small dog house set up in the corner with a cushion and water and assume it was his home.

Settling there he yawns and lay down. Well this still a wonderful life for a dog. As long as they remember to feed him.
