The explosive ending of Episode 11 has garnished high expectation Shi-Jin was on his way to the appointment with Argus to save Doctor Kang. He also called the Arab leader bodyguard to request the Final favor card (He used Mo Yeon's favor) of borrowing a Helicopter, since he doesn't want anything that he does in this solo black mission of his to be put onto paper. The Helicopter would be used as escape route for Argus, however it's obvious that it is mostly a bait tactics for Shi-Jin.

Seo Dae Young realize that something bad was going on when he tries to radio Big Boss. Shi-Jin had left his military issue gun, uniform and dog tags behind, and he realize that his friend was off to do some sort of damage and to save Doctor Kang. Which he learned later on was kidnapped, since he has been preoccupied by our army surgeon recovery more.



I find it interesting that one side recovers and is in the love phase and the other side is in danger all over again. It's like a trade off one side faces issues the other side is better then back again. I guess it's to give both pairings air time and let them be the focus, which isn't a bad idea. 

The Tension mount as the position that Shi-Jin picked was a mansion that most likely Argus had acquired when he killed off the original owner. The Mansion is where most of the children that were taken are kept yes the left over children from the Phantom (Haunted) villages as they were called. The same children that were sold and place together as gang members. Shi-Jin is only one man after all and he has gone into that mansion realizing that there are more innocents here.

After all Seo Dae Young immediately organize Alpha Team comprised of Sergeant Im Gwang-nam (Piccolo), Staff Sergeant Gong Cheol-ho (Harry Potter), and Sergeant Choi U-geun (Snoopy).



Dae Young looks like the type to do what the manual says, but at the same time bend the manual a bit.

I suspect that Dae Young did call the General and did get the green light to go save Kang Mo Yeon and also Shi Jin. I do want to ask is how did they know the location of the mansion? Only way I can consider is the contact with a higher upper that knew of the location of where Shi-Jin probably reported in Command Center. Before leaving with the team he went to see Yoon Myung Joo and handed over his tag while giving her a kiss on the forehead. He did inform her of the situation in regards to Kang Mo Yeon.

I can see the appeal of this pairing, for one Dae Young is considerate compare to Shi-Jin he did tell Myung Joo what was going on and did head off. He knows she would worry, but he rather not deny her in the sense since she is recovering. Whereas Shi-Jin would normally simply conceal facts and information to alleviate Mo Yeon's unhappiness. But I can give Shi-Jin an excuse since Dae Young and Myung Joo relationship is longer and more established compare to the other pairing.

Argus receiving the wire transfer money from North Uruk for the weapons and is getting ready to leave Uruk. Tossing the laptop into a tank of water to destroy the laptop he is singing and dancing in glee. He started to pack up the money and diamonds from the hidden vault behind the painting of the wall. Talk about typical style of hiding a Vault.

Argus informed his henchman to kill all the kids, since none would fit into a suitcase. Indeed the villain is vile and have no conscious in regards to human lives. I am sure that Kang Mo Yeon realize this too when she heard about the children. She probably realize that Shi-Jin had lied to her many times, but as of now she is terrified but keeping strong and not trying to appear weak.

Fighting break out inside the mansion and Shi-Jin manages to neutralize about six to seven men, however, he has a weakness and that is seeing a man holding a kid hostage with a gun to his head. Dropping his gun he was lucky that Dae Young appeared afters shooting the man dead. It is evident if Alpha Team didn't appear that Shi-Jin would have died. Dae Young address asking him why he drop his gun and you can see that the man inwardly was shaken that they might have lost their comrade. I think that Shi-Jin will need loads of training after this, but then I think it's sweet that he want to save people. Gaining command from Wolf, he activate the operations by stating that Captain Big Boss taking over a formality.

At an emergency conference at Blue House, the man that denied Shi-Jin to go after Kang Mo-Yeon is facing off with Commander General Yoon whom is willing to take the blame for activating a team. The conversation between the General and the official from Blue House is intense, the words from General Yoon really touch me. I believe the man change for the better even with the threat that if the mission fail and they got in trouble if he would be willing to take off the uniform. I guess with Son In Law Dae Young he is willing to help him out. Especially, when he probably wants to also save the doctor and Shi-Jin.

Argus is waiting for Shi-Jin to appear and provide him with plans to escape from Urk, since the transfer of fund and weapons were already done. After waiting for the appointed time Argus had Kang Mo Yeon taken with him heading out, since he believe that Shi-Jin didn't appear. Argus waltzing down this mansion notices Shi-Jin standing there.

Shi-Jin states that he came and kept his promise and for Doctor Kang to be let go. He also states he also secure their retreat route, but Argus said he only wanted the retreat route and not the guide. Argus showing off Mo Yeon and with her split lip, Shi Jin aim his gun mad that she was hit. Argus immediately show the detonator and also the vest of bombs that Mo Yeon was wearing. Since Argus doesn't know Korean yet, you see him telling snipers to hold off and to ask Snoopy about the bomb on her body.

The helicopter noise came along and Argus said to let the helicopter to land and that he would let Mo Yeon gone once he got onto it and away. Snoopy appeared and they are talking in Korean. Argus asked Mo Yeon what they are saying, and being snarky she said that it was simply a beautiful day.

Argus point the gun at her and Shi Jin immediately fire his gun taking out the gun in Argus hand. Argus shocked that Shi Jin shot at him and declare if Shi Jin was crazy. Shi Jin said he most likely is and that Argus shouldn't talk, touch, or ask her to reply and to instead take him instead.



Argus shift Mo Yeon and Snoopy declares that there is a denotation light near her shoulder. Shi Jin told Mo Yeon to trust him and that he is also sorry for this he shot and wounded Mo Yeon in the shoulder to take out the blinking green light in the vest, while having her hold still.

Wow, I bet that hurt Shi Jin as much as anything, to hurt the one he love, but in order to save her, he rather she bleed a little then be dead. Shoots fired in consistent sequences by sniper Wolf and Snoopy hitting Argus men.

Snoopy is disarming the vest so they can remove it, and you can see Shi Jin trying to calm her and keep her steady, she is shaking, but she seem to calm down with Shi Jin there and looking into his arm. Then once a wire is cut and the vest taken off, we hear that the bomb is going to go off, and Snoopy toss the vest out warning everyone to take cover and cover their eyes.

The bomb explodes, but there is movement from Argus signifying that the man is reaching for his gun, Wolf warns and Shi-Jin has enough time to cover Mo Yeon. He is shot by Argus, while Wolf tries to snipe Argus. Shi-Jin turn around cradling Mo Yeon neck the V portion of his arm, turning around he point his gun at Argus and cover her eyes stating she need to erase this memory and to forget. Argus had grab the case with money and diamonds, Shi Jin start shooting four to six times, and you can see his tear trailing down as he kills Argus. .Argus instead final move is to grabbing at the open case with money and we can tell that his love is not for country, or for a person, but instead for wealth.

Alpha team is on the helicopter with Kang Mo Yeon, using the Helicopter phone Shi Jin tell General Yoon that everything is done and that they have complete the mission. The blue house representative is amazed that instead of disciplining the rouge Captain, he just let them go.

The President suddenly made appearance and while the representative is trying to put blame on General Yoon. General Yoon owned up to the whole mission and authorization that may go against Delta Force of the United States plan, however, instead of telling off General Yoon.

The President said he would take all responsibility, he also thank General Yoon for saving their citizen of Korea and that is what matter the most. So instead of being demoted or reprimand the General was let go of the incident too. Myung Joo still recovering hear the helicopter and quickly ran out of the ward to see Seo Dae Young, whom already made his way to the medicube to catch her as she stumble almost
down the stairs. The whole time she is clutching the dog tags of Seo Dae Young keeping it safe for his return.

Captain Yoo is sitting behind a stone wall and Mo Yeon is watching him looking at a photograph. He takes out his lighter and lit burning the photograph of him and Argus in a hug.

Scene shift to where she is sitting in the treatment room for the gun shot to her shoulder, Min Ji is amazed never seeing a gun shot wound before, whereas Doctor Song is trying to present the pen for Mo Yeon to bite.Doctor Song was being a total clown as we can tell, because his ridiculous. Mo Yeon started to cry out the stressful situation is over for her. Nurse Ja-ae pounded him and then praised Mo Yeon.

The next day the muscle troops of the Korean army is once again jogging and running, Mo Yeon, Nurse Ja-ae, Nurse Min-Ji with Doctor Song are watching. The soldier boys as they pass by are all acting out, and while Doctor Song call Dae Young back to talk. He tell him to discipline the boys and that this shouldn't happen, but we can see how amused and happy Dae Young is and that he let it go.

Mo-Yeon is walking along the compound in a pink sweater and Shi-Jin appears.It look like Shi-Jin went to look for her. He asked about her wounds concerned probably because he was the one that hurt her. Mo Yeon asked about Fatima she said she couldn't think straight to ask him about it last night. Shi-Jin said she is fine, but then Mo Yeon said there were many things he lied to her about. Mo Yeon wants to understand and about the lies that Shi-Jin tells she wants to know what is the double meaning behind the jokes he make where unspeakable things cannot be said.

Mo Yeon is crying over how frustrated she feels because she said her life is where she would complain about delivery times of food, but his lies would mean someone life was on the line. I am certain her heart is wavering, but she is stronger now, but at the same time she is in too deep. Shi Jin believe she wants to break up with him, but she said she is trying to figure out a way how to handle Shi-Jin. It means she isn't dumping him, but rather how their relationship can work. The words from Argus hurt Mo Yeon, but being stubborn and change I doubt she would ditch him that quickly.

Shi-Jin deliver the body of Argus to Delta Force United States. The body of Argus would not be commended rather he is striped for rank all listed is Nationality is United States of America Date of Birth April 12, 1981 Date of Death March 2, 2016 Name David Argus..

Operative: It's a good day when a failed operation results in only paperwork instead of lives lost. You don't have to apologize to anyone.
Yoo Shi-Jin: Thanks for not reporting me on that day because of you I was able to avoid struggles with my own troops.
Operative: No, I reported you. Just a little bit late.
Yoo Shi-Jin: Seems very lonely, with no honor and no country to serve. See you again.
Operative: Big Boss! Even if I never see you again, you stay alive. You stay well.

Mo Yeon is already talking to the medical team in a meeting telling them that they would be going back to Korea. Doctor Song was surprised. Whereas Nurse Ja-ae asked him if he was that disappointed. Min Ji said she feels weird, I guess because she gotten use to Uruk and probably the schedule. All the interns grew up in my opinion.

Mo Yeon checked up on Myung Joo stating that she is glad that the woman would be alright. Myung Joo returns the favor when she yank down Mo Yeon pink sweater to check on the bandages from where Shi-Jin shot her at.

As for Manager Jin all his concern was the diamonds but Mo Yeon told him it was given to the Americans and that he should be happy to be alive. I guess its punishment for him in regards to authority and also the death of all of those people.

Fax came in being delivered by Gi Beom. It's the result of the Chi Hoon and we can tell that the man handing it shows that he is negative and not dying.

The guy probably want to change the circumstances with Chi Hoon of what he did before, of course Chi Hoon feeling better and being cured of his misery and shame is awesome.

Then of course outside he is washing his face when the little boy came again to tell him that he is cure and his not sick anymore. The kid is quite cute, Chi Hoon not understanding the language he present shoes to the kid, but the kid wants goat. He wants to raise a goat, which I suppose makes more sense rural area goat can give you food whereas shoes is nothing. There is still loads of misunderstanding between the two, since Chi Hoon doesn't understand what he is saying. This is why you need better translator! Or a book that can pronounce.

Mo Yeon is recalling the memory of Shi Jin blocking the bullet of Argus shielding her, and his words of wanting to break up. She goes back to the memory of the night where Shi Jin is sitting at the stone wall crying. She was probably imagining a scenario where she should have gone to him and comfort him that time. By covering his eyes and tell him to forget the memory as well. To not recall just like he told her. However she woke up from her memory and went out bumping into Shi-Jin too. She asked the man if he want Coffee with her and told him to go make it for her. There is our bossy Mo Yeon.

Approaching her outside with two cups of coffee we can see he is feeling cautious and timid on his approach, then offering her the coffee cup. She hug him in her arms to remedy what she couldn't do for him that night. To brush aside the pain he had she told him that she made two rounds and that Myung Joo is okay. She made small chat of what she did with him, like she is reporting her thoughts and concerns in regard to the loss of her hair ties. She tell him she would tell him trivial things of her life and deal with her chattiness.

Nevertheless, she ask him to promise her to let her be insecure. Meaning not to cover up with jokes if his life was in danger. To make things light she asked him what would it be her or the country? Being a devil that he is Shi Jin said Kang Mo Yeon for now. His explanation that the homeland doesn't feel jealous at all and will be there. Mo Yeon look upset that the mother in law is the country and the same as a sister in law.I found this hilarious, Shi-Jin hug Mo Yeon again and stroke her hair, while she held her coffee. I guess the both made up in a way once again.

Back to the other couple, Dae Young is checking up and having a chat with Myung Joo. Myung Joo said since the fever went down she is hungry and that she wants Ginseng Chicken and Pork Belly. The conversation is quite sweet and hilarious, because you can see her cheating him with her charms. Stating that everything she likes begin with a S she then take off the dog tags and place it around Dae Young neck and tell him she love him.

Gi Beom is frustrated when Dae Young and Shi Jin are cooking ginseng chicken for their girls because he believe they are doing it all wrong. Dae Young is being all exaggerating when he add in salt from 1 meter high. I suppose someone in Korea chef show did that before and all. The girls taste the food and said it was tasty, while both guys are watching them. Dae Young said that they prepare the food for them since both of them were working hard.

Mo Yeon calls that the food was obviously made by Private Gi Beom. I wonder how badly they did on the first try? Haha. Myung Yoo did mention she would miss the guys food too. Then both girls were talking about the past. Mo Yeon let it slip that she saw Myung Joo eating chicken stew together with Min Yoon Gi (Spelling were different in translations)  at the restaurant. I wonder if this was the guy that Mo Yeon had a crush on.


The boys are listening to the two girls talking. Myung Joo said that she didn't eat with him just that the guy followed her because he had something to tell her. Mo Yeon states that the guy was with her at that point and Myung Joo said that was not possible since the guy said that Mo Yeon and him were just study partners. Both girls notice as they are arguing that both guys are looking at them unhappily jealously. Wow talk about payback moment for the air flight attendants.

I want to indicate the fans are absolutely hilarious! I really do find the images fitting for all of each characters and how they match them to stuff animals and what not. I wonder if any of the cast members actually got a chance to see this.

Dae Young words were so hilarious how he wanted to go find the guy and kill him for messing with their girls. He still didn't insult Myung Joo even though both girls were arguing over that one guy.  They both toss the apron onto the chair and went away upset that their girls had a relationship before. Myung Joo said that Mo Yeon had a bigger trouble then her, because she could just pretend to be sicker whereas Mo Yeon didn't have that advantage. I find it hilarious the girls really do fit their counterparts well its like a female Shi Jin and female Dae Young, just almost....

Mo Yeon tries to pretend to be sick when she went to seek Shi Jin. Shi Jin was jealous of the Doctor Yoon Gi. Feeling annoyed with Shi Jin behavior she said she might as well phone call Yoon Gi to hear his voice. Then Shi Jin told her to just try it, when she starts to call he strike the phone out of her hand like the first time they had met. But Kang Mo Yeon outwitted him by catching the phone instead of Shi Jin and told him to listen to her.

The words she said is as of now, I like Yoo Shi Jin the most out of all the men that exist in this world. She said she had tea with many men, however with Shi Jin they both overcame an infectious disease together also got a bullet wound from Shi Jin's gun and also he suffer a gunshot wound too. Despite all of that she still like Yoo Shi Jin. Then she gave the reason is that Yoo Shi Jin is never cowardly and he was honorable at every moment as well. Also, he was handsome everytime she had seen him.

 

I also got this strange feeling that the words as of now, should set him off but for some reason he didn't react like she did with the country talk they had.

Apparently after appeasing the male ego he was now more receptive to her and sat closer to her. Instead of saying more sweet nothings to Shi Jin she said she was going to go see Fatima and was wondering if Daniel and Yehwa can be supporters for Fatima. Since she is leaving for Korea.

Shi Jin informed Mo Yeon that it isn't a wise choice sine those two people show up and disappear suddenly. However, he does have an idea of whom could take Fatima in. They ended up at the bar and Shi Jin is talking to Valentine telling her about the black market and that the girl she help save was Fatima. Valentine wonder why Shi Jin was alright for her to be the guardian of Fatima, and his response smooth as it is that he believe and trust in the person that brought him luck. Valentine knows that they are leaving for Korea.

Mo Yeon hopes that Fatima would write letters with her and keep in contact. I suppose this ties up that loose end of that kid. I am also wondering if it is plausible that they manage to place some of the other kids in other places.
Standing on the bell tower Shi Jin is having another conversation with Mo Yeon and threw her the white stone from the wreck ship. He told her to try it this time to try to come back to Uruk, since he already came back. Holding out his hand she places her hand in and the bell rings.

Aerial shot of Uruk. With air-drone camera it is much easier now to do a shot from high places without needing a helicopter. So to display Uruk the false city they air the bell tower where both individual are kissing but many fans are frustrated over this scene. I found it rather nice and artistic and all. Though I see why they are upset because there is no sign of the two kissing there haha.


The Girls are once again outside waiting to see the Doves of Uruk as they label them. They wanted to see them one last time since they would be going back. Back once again to the early morning and the jogging troops we see Doctor Song has joined the jogging half naked men. Ja-ae is totally checking him out it's a special event for her. Min-Ji asked Nurse Ja-ae if she can simply be with him. Nurse Ja-ae make excuse and runs away to go pack her clothes and stuff. I really have to applaud Doctor Song, his awesome even though his like a kid. Even though his not define his pretty good for someone that hasn't been in the sun for so long. A white whale with a bunch of stampeding herd of brown cows. I know I am going to be run over for that comment haha.

The next day came and exiting the medicube the airhorn is being blown and immediately Mo Yeon and the other doctors stood still with head bent to remember the people that died from the earth quake. Then it is another photograph of the medical team and the soldiers and we can see Mo Yeon smiling happily in this photograph.

I guess they took a lot of photos. This is the first time Mo Yeon got a photo with Shi Jin and the kids that is underneath the Captain! I do have to comment the photograph almost look like a family photo where everyone is stuff inside. Literally! Though I guess it explains if they can all gather together to have drinks together and have fun.

Back in Korea the medical team is heading to the workplace Mo Yeon said it was nicer at Uruk because all they had to do is step out of the place she stay and into the medicube.

The team greet each other outside as they meet up to head toward Haesung hospital. They really do feel more together compare to the beginning and more like one of those medical teams that come together.

Preview for Episode 13. The military group is back to the barracks and that the men are gather with other people drinking.  She is being help back to her home drunk by Shi Jin, I do want to note her clothes seem more militarist then the normal clothes she would wear. Then it look like the team alpha is in another mission but instead of military clothing they are dress in black suits with ear pieces and look like it is near the HaeSung hospital on some sort of rooftop with sniper rifles.
