 CHAPTER 4











Exhaustion. Buddhist always talked about suffering to achieve enlightenment, but she seriously doubt they meant on the grand scheme of repenting for work.  Megan moans as she headed home, they finally finished the first episode. Opening the door with her key she penguin waddled to her couch and collapse on it. 


“Ahhhh so tired!” Megan cries out. The last scene filmed was at the amusement park where Pi Ya Nuo had saved Zi Han from being trampled by a horse. Falling down, even with matt’s still hurt a lot. The matts weren’t soft, not like how everyone imagine, rather they were hard like plastic bats. 

Breathing in Megan turns flopping on her back and stares at the ceiling smiling, it was fun though. The scene drowns so much of her energy. She has to run up and down few times to get the perfect cut.  She walks to the bathroom to get shower before sleeping. Need to restore energy for tomorrow filming and schedule. 

Baron stares out the window in his bedroom. He has been thinking how lives have change since he moved to china years ago. He has been active more in Mainland entertainment industries than here. When he was offered for the role and knowing her going to be the lead, immediately he gives a Yes to his boss. He and Megan have known each other long time ago but they been lost contact. For him this is a great jump start for his career in Taiwan. 

However he never knows Megan still the same girl that he ever knows. How she treat him, how she talk with him still the same. He felt like home when she with him.  

“I need to focus on my acting than my feeling” Baron shakes his head. “Focus. Focus.” He keeps repeating the words to calm his heart. To keep him from thinking about Megan, he took the script and start reading it for upcoming scene. Sometime he will smile reading it. To much fluffy dialog. He thanks the director for making a possible comeback for him. Once he started to felt bored, he decided it time for him to call for the night. He can’t wait for tomorrow to come.

Megan opens her eyes and look at the table clock. She has a good sleep and need to ready for today filming. Today will be a fun day for filming as she read the script book. It’s more leisure than the last few days. She smiles when she will see new side of the Du Zi Feng. These past few months she has been happy to meet Baron again. 

Her long lost friend has come back. They have talk a lot, talk about life after Baron left Taiwan. She smile again and start to do her morning routine. Taking shower and have a light breakfast waiting for her manager to come and pick her up.

 When Megan arrive at the location she realise a lot of production staff already there and in the middle of equipment set up. She walks towards a place for actor and actress will do their make up. She sees Baron in middle of doing his make up. She smile brightly to him and he give her a nod.

“Are excited for today scene?” Megan asks him as she sat beside him.

“Of course, I got to see you dance in a suit in state of dress. Once in a life time chance” Baron teasing her.

Their dance scene end with a lot of laughter. They can’t see straight to the each other eyes and Megan unconsciously will blush. Sometimes Baron will laugh at her and make a silly gesture towards her. The dance is so beautiful but it become awkward when two men dance together. 

 
Megan could hear Baron laughing at her, they were at the hotel for day two, they had finish filming the party with the dance, and now it was Amanda Chou and her portion to act up their conversation between Pi Ya Nuo and Fan Xian Jing. 

Amanda was giggling at Megan’s face, “You look like it’s a death sentence here.” 

“One portion of acting that is the hardest is always the kiss scenes.” Megan shook herself to be professional, “I don’t care!” She flap her hands, “I am going for one take, so you better do it too Amanda!” 

“You sound so embarrassed by this.” Amanda grins widely. 

“Well it would give the whole film crew something to chatter about, but I am doing it once!” Megan look determined, already she could feel her face falling off, from embarrassment. First kissing Baron that really hurt on day one of filming at the hotel, the teeth bashing wasn’t pleasant and they had to do it almost close to ten times. 

The Director yelled Action. 

Amanda snapped into Xiao Jing character and said, “So, unless you swear, I won’t believe that you didn’t feel anything.” 

Megan turns and lean her fingers into Amanda magenta dress and tugged her forward pressing their lips together and lightly push her away. 

Staring at Amanda she said in a control voice, “Did you feel anything?” She tilt her head back and continued to stare at Amanda with a cool response, “A kiss is just like this. Lips touching another’s lips. It’s just nothing.” 

Turning away from Amanda she pulled her fingers up as her lips twisted outward and wiped it as she walked away, immediately she hurried fully embarrassed to death as she lean against the wall. Her shoulders bunched together as she tries to hide her cries of agony. 

She could hear Amanda deliver her lines, “I was kissed by a girl. The feeling is not bad.” The pause sound Megan straighten slowly as Amanda called out, “Hey Pi Yanuo! I haven’t finished my piece! I want to discuss the cruise trip with you!” 

The director yelled cut and that it was good. 

Megan felt relieve slip through her body and she glances up her cheeks so red, “I want to go home…..” She whines like a beaten puppy, “I want to go home. So embarrassing, I just lost my pride from this.” 
 
A few men in the back were laughing and one of the staff males cried out all in a high pitch tone, “Pi Ya Nuo is cool!” 

While another was laughing saying, “Two girls kissing is hot.” 

Rubbing her cheeks Megan hurried off the hallway to where her chair would be, her head jerked up startled when clapping happened and she spotted Baron giving her a sexy grin. 

“I am clapping for you. You did this all in One take!” Baron said, “At least you don’t have to do it over and over.” 

“You think I want to do it over and over?” Megan sat down and slid out her cellphone, “No thanks!” 

Baron pointed out, “Well we will be stuck together tonight. You might as well read my lines to me.” 

Megan cries out, “I want to go home!”
