What was so special about Min Yun Gi?

Both men had left their special loves to avoid being temperamental against them. They both didn’t want to ruin their relationship by yelling or throwing a tantrum like wryly toddlers. Even though words spew from their mouths were in jealousy over the unknown man that made such an impact between the two girls.

Dae Young’s words were all against the man, he would never say anything against Myung Joo. Whereas his comrade was all accusing Doctor Kang of her behavior with another and that the bastard was at fault playing with them.

The threats being hung on finding out the man and teach him a lesson were left in the air when they exited.  Pressing his lips he went to the office and started to make some calls to some buddies he had. After his calls he noted the sound outside and moves to stand up.

Shi Jin had already follows him into the office, leaning against the table, "find him..." He orders.

"Will do..." Dae Young then leaves out another way after five minutes as Doctor Kang headed in and didn’t see him swing out of the window. He wasn't sure what happened between his friend and Doctor Kang but he was in better mood the next day.

Myung Joo had headed to the medic cube following him or heading back. Her arms wrap around his hips.

"He wasn't anyone..." Myung Joo replies, "You know this because...I fought for you."

"I know." Dae Young knew the type that Myung Joo like he also knew she like playing and billing the civilians. She is an honorable woman if she wasn't she wouldn't have chase after him this entire time.

It would be several months later after they were back in Korea that Dae Young headed to a coffee shop near the clinic where their target worked. It was funny that the clinic was located thirty minutes from HaeSung hospital. He entered and nodded to Shi Jin whom already was settled down staring at each man that entered or exited the shop suspiciously his brows puckered unhappily.

“You got here early.” Dae Young said after settling down.

Shi Jin makes a click sound under his breath, “Yes…did you manage to find out this Min Yun Gi?”

Seo Dae Young eyes slid over the area and a laugh slid over his lips and nods to the side to show a man of thirty something outside the glass door. He was hurrying  almost clumsily fumbling with the door before entering. A pair of thick frame glasses was on his face and he was already pulling out his wallet rummaging inside.

Shi Jin glances over and narrow his eyes then it widen when he realizes that the man’s face look chubby and there was a lanky look to him like he hasn’t slept in over four days. “What the…?”

“That’s Min Yun Gi…” Shi Jin got up and Dae Young follows, “It has been over four years since he met our girls…his married and has two kids.”

Standing in front of the man Shi Jin didn’t expect the man to bowl into him. “Ah! I am so sorry!” The wide eyes through the thick frames made Shi Jin freeze at the sound of the hoarse voice.

“Are…you…Min Yun Jin?” Shi Jin asked even so uncertain as to why Mo Yeon or Myung Joo would even like this guy.

The wide eyes blink several times confused, “Yes…do I know you?” The man stutters out uncertain.

Shi Jin was in disbelief and Dae Young was enjoying this, he had read the files and got the background on the guy, he was absolutely none threat to his or Myung Joo’s relationship but he could feel the unsettle feeling from Shi Jin.

“Do you know Kang Mo Yeon and Yoon Myung Joo?” Shi Jin asked trying to determine if this was the right guy.

“Uh…yeah they are my classmate and one was my friend…” Yun Jin look bewildered, he was swaying a bit, “Do you mind if I order a coffee first?” The man looks like he was about to fall asleep, “I worked two shifts and I cannot focus as much right now.”

“Yes…that’s fine. We will be sitting there if you could join us there…” Shi Jin said and he motion to Dae Young as he went back to sitting at the table, the Captain had already order coffee and it was delivering to where he finally settles down. “Why didn’t you tell me?” Shi Jin accused Dae Young.

“I thought it would be best for you to see the guy.” Dae Young said, “You wouldn’t have believe me until you actually saw him.” He understood that four years ago the man look healthier but the strain probably of working and the eating out probably got him into this state.

The paddling of feet made them stop talking as the man sat down, “I am sorry for that…” He apologizes happy when three cups of coffee appear in front of him. He started to drink the first one then another and was carefully on the third cup.

Shi Jin wonders how the man could even drink such a hot beverage so quickly.

“You said something about Mo Yeon and Myung Joo?” Yun Jin looks at them curiously.

“Yes. We are their boyfriends, but they did mention you were a great help and friend to them.” Shi Jin lies favorably in hopes of squeezing out some information from the man.

“Mmm…” Yun Gi hums and places down his coffee cup and took off his glasses and rub his nose, “I wasn’t much help…” He wave off probably now waking up enough to focus.

Shi Jin look startled that the man look a bit different now without the glasses and if he lost a few pounds and exercise was probably not bad looking prior. “They said you help them…”

“We were just study buddies…Mo Yeon were really good at note taking and when she explains the information it was understandable.” Yun Gi said, “She was nice to me considering I come from a poor background.” He gave a sheepish laugh and scratches his cheek embarrassed, “Whereas classmate, Myung Joo look like she was anemic…”

“Anemic?” Dae Young grew concerned.

Yun Gi nods, “Well practically most of us were always busy either studying or interning so there wasn’t much time to eat…” He shrugs, “Ginseng Chicken was close by when I notice she turn pale shade of white and besides it is good to test one another in studying while making sure we fill our belly’s.”

“You really a good guy…” Dae Young said, “Are you married now?” He nods to the ring on the man’s finger.

Glancing at his finger, Yun Gi nods his head, “Three years ago…I proposed to my longtime Girlfriend and she said yes….” He beams and rummages in his pocket and pulls out his wallet to flip to the pictures, “I also have two toddlers.”

Taking the wallet and glancing at the photos it shows the wedding photo and Shi Jin could tell why Mo Yeon was attracted to the guy. He supposes fatherhood and work changes people if they don’t watch out their health. Professionals some are that way where they fall into busy schedules and forget to look after themselves.

“They are cute and your wife is beautiful.” Dae Young compliments while kicking Shi Jin.

Shi Jin returns the photo and gave a bright smile, “How long have you talk to our girls?”

“Ah…a while I got side track and I didn’t think it was proper to bother them since they both were busy…I believe Yoon Myung Joo is in the army?” Yun Gi gave a smile, “If you can believe it I was considering that track but my girl friend told me not too…and well I ended up working for a clinic instead.” He rubs his neck amused. “I am sorry but I forget to ask your names…and what you do…?”

“We both are in the military.” Shi Jin said smoothly, “I am Yoo Shi Jin and his Seo Dae Young.”

“Oh!” Yun Gi turn his eyes to Dae Young, “I recall vaguely that Myung Joo mentions much later on when we were on our final year that there was some guy from the military…is that?”

“Yes that’s me…” Dae Young said pretty sated in regards to Myung Joo regards to the man.

Yun Gi turns his eyes to Shi Jin, “But I don’t remember hearing Mo Yeon mentioning….you.”

“We started dating recently.” Shi Jin said with a smile, already relaxed, “But I am sure that she would like to meet up with you and your family…hey that’s a great idea…why don’t we schedule a BBQ?”

Yun Gi nods his head in agreement, “That is agreeable I haven’t seen the two in a while…” He reaches into his pocket and took out his cellphone. “Let’s share contact then…”

“Yes…lets…” Shi Jin said cheerfully, “And perhaps you can tell me stories of your Profession and maybe more of my girl?” They were exchanging contact through the function of the Samsung phone and already saving the details.

“Oh…Mo Yeon stories…and Myung Joo ones…” Yun Gi laughs, “There were a few good ones with those two…there was one time they knock over a few shelves one time in the library. I wasn’t sure why that happened…” He said absently as he finally took up his third cup and drained it. “And there was another one where Mo Yeon crashed gunnery down the hall…” He considers.

So another hour was spent on chatting until a buzzing noise came over and Yun Gi stated apologetic that he had to leave to work.

Shi Jin mentions after a few minutes of consuming his cold coffee. “I like him…”

“He is a decent man…” Dae Young said with amusement, “We should get him to come to a drinking party with us…”

“Yes…we should….” Shi Jin already got a few tales that he could tease Mo Yeon with and he felt it was well worth meeting the man.
