Chapter 3 Natatorium
Natatorium – A swimming pool, especially one that is
indoor.
Fingers swept through gel hair, large eyes slid over the
posh grounds of Grand Hotel in London and slid over to his companion beside
him. “Are you feeling alright?”
“You keep asking me the same question, Qing Yang.” Na Na
said and looks around the busy city that was vast in space compare to Taiwan.
She felt excited by the new country and touches his arms causally. “I haven’t
been sick in a while.”
That’s quite true, Qing Yang relaxes, “The air flight
would have made you exhausted.”
“You are nagging.” Na Na laughs playfully smacking him
with her finger. “Come on let’s go see how our room looks and explore the
hotel.” She looks at the walls and the architecture around the area curiously.
“That’s true.” Qing Yang led her along, observing the
nuance in his bride and seeing how her body was dressed in a jacket he
painstakingly bought and dressed her in. Though there were tons of protests
along the way, he felt satisfied at the red jacket with its embroidery he
wanted to spoil Na Na.
"I wondered which you'd rather see first," Na
Na asked curiously, when she open a map of the hotel she gotten at the door, "the art gallery or the natatorium.” She hums happily, “I
never had been to a new country before.”
Qing Yang gave a soft chuckle, “I'm afraid you'll get tired before you've seen everything." He winks leading them to the front desk
to check them in. "I would think after we
check in after leaving our belongings in the suite. We will begin with the art gallery," said
he. "There's
not much to see in a swimming pool."
He lean forward lips brushing Na Na’s
shell like ear, “Unless, you and me taking a swim in the waters during certain
hours would be one of the sights I can…” His voice grew softer, Na Na cheek
flooded red in embarrassment. He lean back to observe enjoying the sight and
pressed his lips against her left cheek. “We are…after all newly wedded.”
Na Na swallows loudly eyes wide like a child, “Qing Yang.”
“Don’t worry…I won’t eat you too quickly.” Qing Yang said
lightly, “I like to savor instead of gobbling up.” He laughs at her ducking her
head and finally approaches the front desk. “Yes, we have reservations under
Wei.” He spoke in fluent English.
