Chapter 4 Snoopy Send in a Little Bill

Sergeant Choi Woo Geun was a man that prided himself on his manliness. He would get up in the morning and work out to keep in shape too even checking up on his wife of three years. Originally, his wife surname was Kim before change to Choi her name was Kim Mi Hyang. Woo Geun thought he was very lucky to acquire his wife, her name stand for Beauty perfume. She was a fun loving and social woman that was very good at her job as a CEO.

However, she also was the only daughter of a well off family that worked from the ground up. Her parents were not pleased when she met Woo Geun. It was the point where his team was on leave and he happened to be going to a store that was owned by the Kim family and during that point and time a robbery was happening.

Mi Hyang was taken hostage by the gunman but Choi quick thinking save her life. Sure her parents were grateful, but their daughters increase attraction to the man set them off. It took a load of effort that both were able to marry and with the support of Mi Hyang he continued to work and she even born him a beautiful baby girl.

The girl Mi Soo was spoiled rotten by her grandparents, but Choi was satisfied though he wasn’t sure what to say about his brother in arm. Many were still babies in his opinion, even the Captain turned Major that he worked with.

The original misstep that happen between him and that Kang Doctor actually with time smoothed out, sure he respected her, but he also wanted to yell at her for being reckless. Now gathering the materials from his wife and talking to her about that woman he could see the laughter on Mi Hyang cheeks.

“You like her as a sister, don’t you?” Mi Hyang always was perceptive, even more so then her little girl Mi Soo.

Woo Geun was taking apart hardware in their home and glances up, “No.” A laugh was his answer and the solid waiting. “Fine. She just so stubborn and now some punk broke into her home and well.”

“I am proud of you.” Mi Hyang said and held out a piece of seaweed, which automatically was grip by her husband teeth as he munches on it. “You are still protecting people and now especially that family of yours.” She said lightly, “I want to meet her.”

A choke came from Woo Geun, “No way!”

“Oh come on!” Mi Hyang whines, “She is pretty on television. I want to meet her and besides she is a doctor!”

“She isn’t to be use as business, as you can tell she already got this issue because of being on television. She isn’t like those idols you watch and coo over when I am not looking!”  Woo Geun snarls, but another stick of seaweed was shoved into his mouth.
Mi Hyang said, “You should help your wife make more money by getting her connections.”

Finishing his swallowing and chewing, he pick up his soldering tools again, “You do fine with me. Besides I am sending the Major the bill.” His eyes gleam, “I could send it to that woman but it was a request from the Major.”

“Oh…is he going to peak in on her?” Mi Yang watches her husband splutter again and chokes. “You aren’t dead yet so stop pretending…” She observes her husband’s prone form.

Choi sat up and huffs, “You’re an imp of my life.”

“I thought I was the love of your life.” Mi Yang teases.

“No your second, that’s Mi Soo because she doesn’t tease her appa…” Woo Geun grunts in pain from his wife thump on his arm.

All four individuals were settled in the living room of the Yoo household; Gi Ae was beaming at the other three. Lifting her head, she observe the other three, her brown eyes sliding back and forth, the slanting cheekbones and a sharp, stubborn jaw. Gi Ae prided herself for the fact her genes refuse a tan to happen on her skin, and vice versa passed that gene onto her beloved daughter.

Intellectually, Gi Ae thought a man was a fool if he fell for the packaging of looks. It was a matter of genetics after all to help procreate and ensure the next generation passes on the traits. Yoo Young Geum was older but not by much, perhaps he was considering older then her by a few years or perhaps that was the job he had done until his retirement.

Young Geum had served them all with snacks and tea his behavior was chivalrous and traditional. Oh yes-Gi Ae knew traditionalist on the outside but inside there were rule breakers and even those that bend them when they wishes.

Perhaps Young Geum when he was Shi Jin age was a player going around and meeting with woman having tons of girlfriends, but settled down and slow down enough that the one he love pluck him out of the pool.

“Thank you very much for the hospitality.” Gi Ae said with pleasantness.

Young Geum gave a smile, “I thank you for visiting us at such a short notice. I apologize that we are not exactly presentable at the time.” He shifts self-conscious of his outer wear.

“No, the fault was mine.” Gi Ae laughs softly, “I was so excited to see my daughter and your son.” She hums picking up a snack and biting into it lightly.

“I can understand your concerns toward her safety.” Young Geum said, “If she were my baby, I would be very protective as well.” He said directly, “I have always wishes that Shi Jin-ah had a sister.” He said wistfully, “But a daughter in law would be just as great.”

Shi Jin chokes but Mo Yeon elbow him.

Both parents turn to look at them both. “I do wish they would stop being slow.” Gi Ae laughs, “But your son is quite traditional, hmm?”

“It’s the honor of being a military man and well I teach my son to respect the opposite gender.” Young Geum confesses, the two kids were looking back and forth between the two elders.

“Excuse us.” Shi Jin got up and drag Mo Yeon out whom started to protest, but he had enough and just jerk her over his shoulder like a sack of potatoes.

“YAH! PUT ME DOWN!” Mo Yeon wails were heard from the hallway.

Gi Ae quirk an eyebrow at the direction then look toward Young Geum, “Are you really going to do this in step requirements like my daughter is royalty?”

Young Geum said, “Because she is worth it…and much more.”

Gi Ae said, “I was hoping for grandkids much sooner than later on.” She said, “But if we must we must then, but you do not appear to be traditional at all.”

Young Geum eyes lit up with humor, “Well since we have contact, you will learn if I am or I am not...”

“That sounds marvelous.” Gi Ae gave a chuckle.

The enclosed room that Mo Yeon stayed in was like a cage; once getting off Shi Jin shoulder she started to hit him with her fists on his chest. “What was that all about?”

“I thought you didn’t want to be in the same room, while both of our parents are discussing us like we aren’t there while looking at us like we are pandas in an enclosure.” Shi Jin rubs his chest from where her fist whacks him. “Also that hurt.”

“Then stop picking me up!” Mo Yeon glares and sat down on the bed and crosses her legs. She started to fix her hair but didn’t note the way Shi Jin was watching her uncover feet and legs. Glancing up, she met those dark almond eyes-cool, depthless, direct. She stared, trapped in that instant of contact into seeing nothing else.

Always with this man, she senses it instantly. Perhaps it was the long, smiling mouth, or the fine sweep of black brows. Or maybe it was simply the inner warning that went off in her brain of some animal instinct of females noticing that they were being observed by a potential entirely masculine male. His was the type of man who planned ruthless missions and succeeded. His hair still short from the military cut made Mo Yeon wonder what he would look like if his hair was grown out.

He skin stretch taut over fine bones of his face was white and not tanned like Dae Young, but Mo Yeon didn’t think his genetics would allow him to become darker than a soy bean. This man faced the elements without a thought for fashion, only clothed in fatigues and his military cloak.

Shi Jin never slouches, but rather stood like a sleek, patient predator, always coiled to spring. Slowly made aware of the situation she was in it felt almost like she was at an disadvantage again she it was setting off her senses.

“How long do you think they will keep talking?” Mo Yeon said briskly, annoyed with herself. With deft movement she stood up after uncrossing her legs and headed to the clothes that Shi Jin left for her. Picking up the shirt and shaking it out, then moving onto her jacket.

“Until we show up.” Shi Jin pulled his attention back to focus, “However, it would be a good idea to take your mother out for food.” He said, “Also I need to go out and grab my clothes to change in the bathroom.” He slid his eyes over his room and her bag, glad she hasn’t asked questions about the room. “Also we will go out to shop for some clothes for you and necessities, since you didn’t bring that much.”

“That’s true…in two days we are going to head out.” Mo Yeon worries, “I was lucky I had my passport with me instead of at home and some other things.”

“Well let’s get things ready and grab whatever you need from the rental spaces that we stored your items.” Shi Jin reassures her. “A few of the boys wouldn’t be traveling on the same craft as us, so they will help out with moving and set up. When you come back it should all be ready.”

“Do you think I should consider selling my property and buying another location?” Mo Yeon grabs her purse to check inside.

“I don’t think you need to do that.” He said, really he didn’t want all that effort he put recently to keep her home on surveillance to go wrong. Well the surveillance is mostly a network group of his that would check to make sure her home isn’t broken into from the outside. “With the new security system and all you should be fine.”

“That’s true…” Mo Yeon said, “I could rent it while I am out of the country.”

Shi Jin had an idea, “I could always just get the men to check the home to make sure there isn’t any dust and besides your mother would be going there too.”

“That is true.” Mo Yeon ponders, “I just think it was lucky mom wasn’t there when the burglar broke in.”

“Don’t worry too much, I am sure we can get some of the boys to help her out and you also got Doctor Pyo and the others.” Shi Jin already was watching as she also came to the same conclusion.

“Well okay, let me get change…” She said sweetly, “Now get out.”

Shi Jin snorts, “Yes, ma’am.”
