Summary: When Na Na was small her mother had given her a notebook for her to write down the wishes she wanted to fulfill or finish in her life time.

Na Na's Wish List

•Get a Pet. 

Na Na always wanted a pet rabbit but with money being an issue she never had a chance. Her school when she was in elementary had bunnies as the pet of her classroom and she was in charge of changing it’s water bowl and food. Na Na would spend recess to after school time watching the bunny. It was when Qing Yang gave her Guo Lai that Na Na crossed out her one wish in her note book.

•Buy Mama’s house.
 

 The day Na Na learned that Xing Tian her father purchase her mother’s house a sense of peace slid over Na Na. She may have not purchase the house of her mother’s but it now was in the safe hands of her father. She never realize how much her father loved her mother until that day

•Visit all coffee shops.
 

This was still an unfilled wish—there were tons of coffee houses in the world and many still kept on popping up. Instead she started to list Coffee shops that she went too in a few pages to determine when and where she went to try coffee. But the best coffee she had was the one brewed by the handsome man that look so lonely.

•Go on cruise.

The ticket was purchased and Na Na went on the boat looking at the view. She wish she could have spent this time with her mother but it was a wonderful experience being on a boat for the very first time. She crossed this point off.

•Taste mothers coffee.

Another item was crossed out. Na Na found the taste of her mother by chance. Her attraction to Qing Yang was real but the man was nice enough to teach her how to make it herself. He gave her hope.

•Learn how to dance.

The reception for Pi Ya Nuo was the first time Qing Yang lead Na Na and instructed her how to dance a waltz. It was nice even if she felt clumsy and inwardly she felt happy.

•Get a boy friend.
She never believe that Qing Yang would become her boyfriend but she felt so fortunate. Their get together she suppose was her brash shameless behavior but it got things done she suppose.

•Beat Cancer.

A second surgery and still she was scared hopefully the thing would stay away but she didn’t cross this out yet because she felt uncertain.

•Find love.
The cruise was like a love boat that lead to her luck at bumping onto God of coffee. He was her first love.

•Walk the beach.
•Go hiking.
•See Japan.
•Go to a hot spring.
•Wear a pretty dress.
•Spend time with love one.
•Visit mothers grave.
•See the dragon boat race.
•Watch opera.
•Go fishing.
•Play ping pong.
•Kiss someone I love.
•Tell someone I love them.
•Watch my love sleep.
•Make clothes.
•Knitting scarf.
•Be a mother.
•Go grocery shopping with husband.
•Share good mornings with love one
•See fireworks with someone I like.

Qing Yang had stumbled across the list of Na Na and he check her entry feeling amused that pretty much the whole list was fulfilled. He turned a couple of pages delighted that new bullets appeared.

•Make love with Qing Yang in new house.

•Tell Qing Yang the shark fin…soup taste like soap and beg he won’t get mad at me.
•Convince Ya Nuo to let me play with Ya Nuo brother.
•Zi Feng has claim Qing Yang will become a monster if given Eel. NEED To include that into his diet.
•I want a baby.
•Dad is acting silly need to spend more time with him.
•Want to get college degree to teach elementary school.
•Zi Han shopping expedition is scary but I should spend time with her since she is Qing Yang not really sister.
•Xiao Jing time introduction to manicure.
•I want to see Paris one day.
•I want to see Qing Yang win a coffee competition
•I wish for Qing Yang happiness.
•I want to grow old with Qing Yang.
•I want to see Qing Yang smile everyday for the rest of my life.
•I want to ….
•I need too….

The list went on and Qing Yang lip quirks on the simple wishes to the silly wishes that some were not Na Na’s own wishes. He knew Paris was something suggest by Zi Han and Na Na was only curious. Everything was all link to spending time with love ones. Na Na wasn’t interested in materialism. 

•Please give Qing Yang many children so if I am gone he won’t ever be alone.

That her wishes were mostly for him made his heart sing and flail in anguish. He would constantly kiss Na Na gently on the forehead for her naïve thoughts but he simply love her. 

She was the silver lining in his cloud and he would make sure she is happy.
