Song Sang Hyun was looking through
a jewelry store his eyes slid over his cellphone to see a photo of Ha Ja Ae.
His lips quirk up at her face smug with chocolate, he had secretly left a chunk
chocolate muffin on her work desk.
Ja Ae barely rest these days
working incredibly hard to try to support her siblings. Her parents had passed
away when she was in school and she had to do different jobs to assist her
family. The amount of food she ate was sparse and not at all healthy. The treat
of muffins was too out of her budget, so once in a while he would leave behind
certain foods such as almonds on her desk.
“Sir, can I help you?” A sales
lady approaches the counter and gave a pleasant smile.
“Yes. I want to buy that
engagement ring.” Sang Hyun pointed to the display where a solitary single
diamond, it was approximately one point five karat. It wasn’t too small or too
big.
The sales lady gave a wider smile,
“Fine choice…the single solitary diamond…” She informed about the price and the
grade as she presented the ring to him on a velvet line tray.
“Is there a way to perhaps create
a customization?” Sang Hyun was worried that as a nurse that Ja Ae would lose
the ring.
“What sort?” The sales lady looks
warily.
“Is there a way to create a way
for the ring to have a hole for a necklace snap on version? The love of my
life, she works as a nurse and I don’t want her to lose the ring.” Sang Hyun
informed her.
The sales lady nods her head, “Yes
there is in fact a necklace that does that purpose.” She pull out a tray and
displays it, “This clasp here on the necklace can open and latch onto the ring
in question without change the configuration.”
Sang Hyun gave a grateful smile, “Then
please box it up.” The item in question was set into a velvet box with the
accessory. He signs the credit card slip and took said items with him. Tonight he
would be proposing to Ja Ae she was almost done paying him back by today.
He could feel his heart beat
faster at the thought of her smile and her funny faces she makes to him. Since
age of nine, he loves her and he would continue to love her. She was the only
woman he ever looked at—even though some other men would say that she wasn’t as
beautiful.
To Sang Hyun she was the one for
him.
