“Today should be another excellent moment in time. Guang Zhu, how I wish you could spend it with me. We did promise one another we would grow old together. I cannot help but look back as I age another year and you are not by my side. I have arranged my birthday party with old acquaintances and friends. I hope that these people would help support our family and provide with necessary financial stability. Zi Feng is doing well, but his ability to connect to someone is severely lacking. There is always this wall between him and others. I worry for him so much, being alone is not good for him, so I plan to send him to go pick up Pi Ya Nuo. Hope that handsome man would be able to help him lower his barrier.” –Feng Jie
The party was decorated with white, purple, and blue
balloons. Feng Jie sat down in the lounge after adjusting her red dress and
shoulder wrap. She observes her daughter dressed in a yellow tone dressed. She
always did make sure her daughter had good fashion sense. Feng Jie sat up a bit
shocked by what her daughter said to her, ‘Ya Nuo has a girlfriend.’
“What? Ya Nuo already has a girlfriend.” Feng Jie watches
her daughters face for heart break, but noticing the disinterested she wonders,
“Since you are so quiet are you giving up?” All that planning to set up Zi Feng
with Ya Nuo as sworn brothers, was it too much, if her child isn’t interested
in the boy?
Turning around swiftly Zi Han said, “How could that be?”
Feng Jie relaxes toward her daughter’s attitude, she would have been
disappointed no less if her daughter gave up that quickly. “Regardless of
whether Ya Nuo has a girlfriend, I, Du Zi Han, don’t have the words ‘Give up’
in my dictionary. I’m bloodthirsty when it comes to love.”
Feng Jie nods to her daughter’s words, indeed love is a
battle field and she could see the resolve. A triad’s boss daughter, indeed Zi
Han is like her when she was younger, she was just as vicious when it came to
getting rid of the competition to acquire and isolate her love.
“Now that an enemy has appeared, I have even greater combat
effectiveness.” Zi Han said.
Impressed Feng Jie said with pride, “Very good, very good.
Like mother, like daughter. The children of the Du Family are not permitted to
surrender without a fight. I, Feng Jie, gave birth to you with such great
qualifications not so that you could be a foolish woman who leans on a door
waiting for her husband to return. A man needs to be clutched in your hand.”
She leans forward flexing her hand outward she felt spirited and energetic
recalling all of those times, “If you accidentally strangle him to death, that’s
fine.”
Zi Han nodded at her. She would have to make sure her daughter
took this piece of advice seriously, “Remember, if you don’t fight for it, it
means your love isn’t deep enough. Understand?”
Zi Han nods, “Wow!” She lean closer to her mother, “Feng
Jie, I think you should be the top dog in the family. You are absolutely
domineering!” Feng Jie purses her lips to blow a kiss to her daughter; she was
pleased by her daughter’s words, indeed to be the best they had to be higher than
anyone. “However, Mom, don’t worry. Ya Nuo is mine.” Snapping her finger, “no
one can take him away.”
The sudden greeting of Mom drew Feng Jie and Zi Han’s
attention. Zi Feng had arrived finally. “Ya Nuo is here.” He said Feng Jie
could tell the happiness in her son’s stance.
“Feng Jie, happy birthday.” Ya Nuo greeted politely.
Indeed this boy is nicely dressed, white over red and a
white shirt, not bad. His parents really did love their son, or he purchases
his own clothing. They were one size bigger but not by much to leave for free
movement. The clothes are formal enough to fit into the criteria and made him
handsome then her first meeting with him.
Glancing over to the girl that is beside Ya Nuo she examines
her for flaws. She wasn’t bad looking, great body, color of magenta on her wasn’t
over powering like it would be on other people she knows. Her legs were quite
nice almost on top to that of her daughters, and she grew worried. The girl look
nervous to her, she slowly turns her gaze to her daughter, sending her a
signal.
Ya Nuo turned and smiled happily to the girl beside him, “Feng
Jie, this is my girlfriend, Fan Xiao Jing.”
Feng Jie knew her daughter would have tough competition,
unable to be impolite to her she said reservedly, “Hello, Miss Fan.”
The crisp clear soft voice replied back, “Hello, Feng Jie.
Happy Birthday.” She wasn’t able to look at the girl blinking her eyes slowly.
Luckily Amy appeared and diffused the situation, she wasn’t
sure how her daughter would do against this new competition, but like she said
a fight would be good for her daughter. “Okay let’s go.”
Feng Jie headed off first.

The caring consideration that is now border to another, I wish that this branch will strengthen our son. His wonderful leader, but he never did have what you and I had the support of others. I hope our children will reach out with their branches to grasp the ability to have a stable bond with this new member that is my hardest wish. Hopefully he can mend their bond after such a traumatic experience. I cannot imagine a big strong man like him wanting to kiss my son.” –Feng Jie
