“Today I almost suffered a massive heart break. My daughter was almost run over by a runaway horse and my son would have been beaten to death. I thank Lao Tian (Old Heaven God) for drawing in this handsome boy to my family. His name is Ya Nuo, a considerate fellow that holds gentleness to his fierce fighting demeanor. My Husband in Heaven, you must of answered my prayers and send us a protector for our family. I have done what any Triad Leader would have done and secure this soul to our son. They both with Zi Feng’s attitude hit it off, he even offered his blood to mix with the young man and hopefully our daughter can try to join our houses together.” – Feng Jie
Feng Jie was quite proud of her son’s achievements. With
her husband disappearance those seven years sure she has been lonely without
him, but she was blessed with wonderful children. Fixing her hair and putting
on her mascara, she threw open her closet space. They live in a house her
husband had built it was the first gift he had given to her when they had
gotten married.
Looking through her clothes she picked a red color dress,
she felt energize to face the day and she wanted to go to the spa with her
daughter again. Her cute little daughter of twenty five she knew she was
getting on her age and she wanted her children settled. Zi Feng she kept on
pushing match making but that boy, always running off and making the dates go
sour. There was a never ending work for someone as her. Fixing up her clothes
she trailed off, a few men in black suits bow to her. She gave a smile at them,
“Lets go!” Today she would be visiting her husband sworn brother Nan Xing Tian.
He was always so close to her husband she couldn’t separate them with a crow
bar.
The black car drove her along; she glances around to the
scene, already noticing the bullet proof glass of the car and the entire armor
interior. Since, the bullet firing at the temple where she adopted a ten year
old Zi Feng, her husband had made sure the car she travels in was bullet proof.
Especially, since Zi Han was being taken out of their home.
Arriving at the beach resort area where Xing Tian owned
but was run by a management team he assembled. She took a step and breathed in
the air, the wash of the surf coming in at the off banks of rocky terrain was
absolutely divine. It was indeed a great property and purchased at a reasonable
price. Du family had invested heavily in any adventures of Xing Tian.
Still dressed in a Chinese shirt with the normal
decorative knots the man with laughing lines approaches her. “Ah…Feng Jie…welcome
welcome!” He greeted happily.
The one to be affected so much by Guang Zhu’s disappears
was this man. “Smaller brother Tian.” She greeted pleasantly with a tight hug. “I
see the place here looks absolutely amazing.
“Yes, management really does keep up with maintenance and
are quite self-reliant. I feel sorry for Qing Yang handling most of the Coffee
House work.”
“Qing Yang is quite a self-efficient child. Zi Feng
relies heavily on his help.” Feng Jie said with amusement, “His Zi Feng’s right
hand when it comes to the outside of things.”
Triad businesses sometimes held fronts and secrets but
Guang Zhu and Zi Feng worked hard to change everything, to make business
legalize and to bring their family from endless bloodshed. They were able to
live so comfortably without making other families on opposite sides upset or
insult anyone. That was with the backing and power of Nan family and the Wu
Family.
The Nan families holds wealth in establishment and are
consider the investigation and look out for information, however Nan Xing Tian
wasn’t doing as much it fell upon that of Qing Yang. Feng Jie worries about
that boy, but was grateful when Xing Tian took him under his wing seven years
ago when Qing Yang’s parents and her husband disappeared.
Xing Tian was willing since he never did have a child.
That man only had one love Yang Xiao Mei was her name, they were so much in
love at the time she was dating Guang Zhu. That woman was a beauty and very
smart to talented. She never thought that one day she would disappear and how
broken Xing Tian felt.
One of the greatest regret Feng Jie considers is that
Xing Tian never gotten married or had any children. It made her sad that one of
her husband’s sworn brother was without anyone until he took in Qing Yang.
Feng Jie sat down on a grid iron black chair its arms
were shaped like leaves and held a pattern to its bended appearance. A coffee
cup of black Kona was slid in front of her; she lifted it to her lips and
smelled it.
“Now why did you come here?” Xing Tian asked curious.
“Brother Tian I have joyous news.” Feng Jie wanted to
spread the word of the new addition to their family; she also wanted to gain
quickly protection for that brave boy. Either that’s protection from the three
families or even that of outsiders, no one would be touching that boy.
Xing Tian’s eyes twinkle with mischief, “You finally got
one of your kids matched up to be wedded?”
“No…not yet though I am sure this is close enough.” Feng
Jie concedes, “Zi Feng has taken a sworn brother.”
Xing Tian lean back in his chair, “That’s really
something…” He then pauses, “Are you sure his trust worthy?”
“Brother Tian! Who do you think I am?” Feng Jie look
offended while swaying her shoulders to appear puffed out, “I trust my intuition;
this is the one and his already done a lot for our Leader and my daughter.”
Xing Tian shudders as he claps his hands, “Don’t remind
me of your intuition you took one look at Guang Chao and said he will be
married to you in one year.” He points his finger, “You are almost like a
fortune teller. But, how did this kid endear himself to you?”
Feng Jie beams and reiterated the whole scene clip by
clip. She was positive she had footage on CCTV camera from the amusement park
security. If she could just convince the boys to let her have a copy, though
that reminds her to also find out if they could get anything outside of the
park from where Zi Feng was attacked, no one would be touching her babies if
she could help it.
Xing Tian listens and slams his hand on the table almost
spilling the coffee, “I WANT TO MEET HIM!” He was like a child with a new toy. “I
want to see his martial arts abilities…”
Feng Jie gave a sly smile, “Why don’t you call Qing Yang
later on and asked him how Zi Feng’s new brother is like. You do so trust Qing
Yang’s observations.” She said.
“I really should!” Xing Tian said.
Satisfied Feng Jie took a sip of her coffee and relaxes.
Watching the waves, “Pretty soon, I will be taking our family outing, so I
cannot arrange the meeting until later.”
“That’s fine…” Xing Tian said, “I still have a lot of
business to do here. Qing Yang can handle the rest, I will have him accompany
you on the trip, since it may be dangerous for you three during your time…”
“Thanks.” Feng Jie said, “You and brother Hao have been
really helpful, but you go the extra mile for us.”
“Of course…the Nan family always will be there for you.”
Xing Tian professes.
