Summary: On the Beach the four play and are in pure happiness of just a single moment. Conversations are struck and bros try to egg their friends on in their relationship.

It was enjoyable after the initial startup. Qing Yang was sitting on a blanket watching Na Na lifting her dress up and playing with some of the water or picking up shells that she brought back to their blanket. Then hurrying out again when Zi Feng yells he found more.

Qing Yang relaxed in the shade of the umbrella and Ya Nuo sat on the other blanket watching the two. Ya Nuo wearing a swimsuit but it were underneath the pink white sun dress. She was reading a book relaxing. 

Qing Yang closes his eyes and taking in the atmosphere the crisp smell of the sea. Sand digging into the pads of his feet felt warmed and grainy. 

"Qing Yang." Ya Nuo voice drew him out of his daze.

"Yeah?" Qing Yang asked.

Ya Nuo tuck her hair behind her ear. "Na Na looks happier. I am glad you also look happy with her."

"Yeah…I am glad too." Qing Yang peer and watch Na Na fling water at Zi Feng whom retaliates. 

"She is waiting you know?" Ya Nuo said a twinkle linger in her eye. "She doesn't pressure you in your relationship because she is scared."

"Scared?" Qing Yang look surprised.

Ya Nuo nod her head, "to make a wrong move or make you see a part of her you would dislike. A girl need acknowledgement and reassurance from the one they love that the string tied on their finger belongs to them." She grins, "Talking as your bro." She wags her finger, "you should show her what is pounding in here." She drew her finger in her chest.

"How do I show her?" Qing Yang was feeling wary.

Ya Nuo gave a smile, "talk to her...touch her...hug her." She laughs, "do what we Bros could of done to those we like. Zi Feng does it plenty of time to let me know he needs me." She lean forward, "He told me that the bunny and the turtle tale fit you and Na Na though I wonder if his a bit dumb."

"Huh?" Qing Yang didn't understand at this point.

"The bunny raced and sleep but the turtle still win the race through determination and constant consistency." Ya Nuo gave a smirk that fit her face even as a girl but resulted of reminding Qing Yang of her boy tendencies. "You may be slow but you are building blocks of love to house and withstand anything." She winks, "I am not Zi Feng so I won't pressure you to fasten your relationship with Na Na. BUT I do want to ask if you want to wait?"

"Wait?" Qing Yang considers, "it's not that I want to wait. It's just I never consider going fast. Na Na just recovered and I want to..." He wasn't great with words; he was a few words sort of man, "savor her."

Ya Nuo laugh, "So she is your meal? So you are not a turtle than?"

Qing Yang lip quirks upward with a teasing light, "I think this is more like Little Red Riding hood." He nods his head to Na Na playing kicking water at Zi Feng, "The Wolf let her go off before he went to the tree to devour her grandma before he had her for dinner. I can wait...but I guess with you prodding me...I will not wait that long then?"

Ya Nuo gave a giggle, "I am sure she would be happy, but remember playing is okay but the big meal needs to be done after you sign the contract."

"Quite right." Qing Yang laces his hands behind his head and flop back onto his back so he can stare at the umbrella. "I should do something about that right?"

"It would make Uncle Tian happy." Ya Nuo said, "Besides, the clothes you select for Na Na is nice, but reason why I say not to wait too long is that she will grow popular in the cafe soon. You making her look prettier and showing her legs would get some other predator lingering around her."

Qing Yang smile slid off, "She doesn't want them."

"Yes, but sometimes some other guys won't get the hint." Ya Nuo chides, "While she is a white rose quickly prune her into your hands. But please do continue to get her clothing I am sure she is happy with it and she is starting to look her age."

The sun started to set and Na Na came trampling toward Qing Yang happily, "Qing Yang! Qing Yang!" A bright smile on her face, "Lets eat! Lets eat!"

Indeed she was sunny and bright and he could see the appeal and his mind started to trail off as he let her lean against him on her side. "You are wet again..." He touches her dress.

"It was so fun though!" Na Na giggles.

"Well..." Qing Yang sat up and tug a towel from the bag and slid it over her legs, "Dry off a bit and I will get the fire pit started to cook you a meal."

"Thank you!" Na Na was already doing as he suggested.

Qing Yang got up into a crouch and lean forward to press his lips to her forehead, “You are a bit hot now, don’t catch a cold when it gets cooler here.” He stood up and made his way to the picnic basket and the cooler, they had already stacked up some supplies to create the bonfire.

Ya Nuo shook her head and slid to her feet to head over to Zi Feng.  Creeping up to Zi Feng she wraps her arms around him. “Zi Feng, do not press him anymore…”

“Oh? So you talk to him?” Zi Feng hands slid up to grip the arms around his shoulders and pat it in rhythm to the view of the waves crashing forward.

Ya Nuo nuzzle his neck and nip lightly, “Of course, he is my bro, right?”

“And you like Na Na.” Zi Feng teases.

“I can see her as a little sister and you seem quite taken with her charms.” Ya Nuo poke Zi Feng when he bit her arm.

“Jealous?” Zi Feng hums.

“You wish!” Ya Nuo huffs, “But Qing Yang isn’t a turtle.”

“OH?” Zi Feng tugs her around him so he can wrap his arms around her slender hips. “So what is he?”

“He said… his is the wolf in little red riding hood.” Ya Nuo gave a chuckle.

“Hmm.” Zi Feng lips quirk up to kiss her nose in a quick gesture, “Well I am afraid that Na Na isn’t little red riding hood though she appears like it.”

Ya Nuo pinch his cheek, “Explain.”

“Na Na is more of the wood hunter.” Zi Feng winks, “She is the one with the axe welding ability if Qing Yang gets on the wrong side, but I really do hope our bro would put a ring on her finger soon.”

Na Na yawns lightly and lay on her side watching Qing Yang work diligently; it was a dream to her how much Qing Yang made her so happy. He was so kind and warm, but she did wish he would hurry up and decide on what he wanted. They were girlfriend and boyfriend but all they have done lately is just hug each other talk to each other. She envies the other two on the beach right now. She watches Ya Nuo scream at Zi Feng and hook his leg tugging him down onto the sand, the both roll around there.

She gave a loud sigh; Na Na recalls how she plays with Qing Yang with balloons once upon a time. She thought that was a peak into the childish side of that man, but she guess she could be wrong. She wanted more fun time with him, she wanted to see him let down the responsible side and laugh like a boy again with her.

Slowly she drowsy off and fell asleep.

Ya Nuo and Zi Feng continued to fight one another this time fast pace of martial arts of grappling as it were. Until both were rolling on the beach kissing hard, the water from the shores hit them hard soaking both of them. Ya Nuo jerked away gasping, “AH cold!”

Zi Feng jerked out and grabs her tugging her away from the waves. “That was…not good!”

Both crawled toward the fire place that was further inland, since Qing Yang considered the higher tide. Na Na was already safe and sound since the blankets were far back anyways. Stones were set into a circle and Qing Yang had stacked the wooden blocks into a whole triangle shape pillar. It was already lit and he glances toward the two childish people. “I assume you are going to dry yourself now?”

Ya Nuo gave a sheepish smile, “Yeah…we had fun sorry you had to put all of this together.”

Zi Feng roll his shoulder, “Let me grill the meat…then…I set it up and ready.”

“Thanks.” Qing Yang already was opening the portable table they had and set it up ready, he pulled out the sandwiches and drinks that they had and got up dusting himself to head toward Na Na. He softens at Na Na sleeping form and brushes her long hair back, sliding off her hat. Leaning down he gave her cheek a press of lips and rub his chin against her cheek. “Na Na….wake up.” He whispered.

Na Na shuffles and makes a noise of discontentment, but slowly open her eyes rubbing it, “What is it?”

“Time to eat…” Qing Yang rub her arm slowly to warm her, “You shouldn’t sleep so far away from the fire you will catch a cold. Come on…” He helped her to sit up and slowly pulled her up to her legs.

Na Na legs wobbles like rubber and she makes a sound of confusion and Qing Yang held her tight. “You always are like a fumbling new born puppy.” He said with a chuckle.

“Not funny.” Na Na said, “Just everything looks blurry after I wake up.”

“So I look different?” Qing Yang asked.

Na Na gave a giggle, “No…just more fussy background around you, but you are bright.” She was lead to sit on a long blanket near the fireplace and grins. A sandwich was slid over to her on a small paper plate.

“Thank you.” Na Na took the sandwich and nibbles on it and look puzzled as Ya Nuo was waving her buttocks at the fire wringing her dress out while Zi Feng was just waving his shirt up and down from the bottom. “What happen to them?”

“They had so much passion that the sea god decided to remind them what high tide means.” Qing Yang snorts and took his own chicken katsu sandwich. Biting into it he pullout bottle water and slid it over to Na Na. A dash of mayonnaise was on her lips and he bent over with his thumb to wipe it off.

Ya Nuo heard the commentary and glares, “You are just lucky that when you did that…” Meaning when he wiped off the mayonnaise, “I and Xiao Jing wasn’t close enough to you two.”

Na Na took a glance to Qing Yang and Ya Nuo then back again. “What’s wrong?”

Ya Nuo pointed, narrow her eyes, “It’s nothing.” In reality she was referring to the time in regards to Zi Han and Guang Chao how she accidentally pushes them together and they experience their first kiss. Then again her luck was that way with the red string of fate thanks to Xiao Jing and Guang Chao too.

Qing Yang just gave Ya Nuo a blank look, “Not going to happen!”

“We’ll see.” Zi Feng already knew about what happened and he was well informed from his wife. The two of them may fight and badger each other but they were a team when it came to helping others and taking out opponents.

Qing Yang narrow his eyes, “Bring it on then!” He slid himself closer to Na Na to block her inquisitive glances, “Try it…and I will reveal what happened on your thirteenth birthday…and…I would tell everyone about the hot spring incident!”

Both Ya Nuo and Zi Feng spluttered out and back away.

Na Na grew frustrated, “I want to know what you guys are talking about! Why am I always the one to be left behind?” She pouts.

Qing Yang strokes her arm, “One day…just be patient.”

“You know I am not patient!” Na Na grumbles but bites into her sandwich again.

The sun set low and already disappeared only the fire was warm. All of them had drank their fill of drinks selections and Zi Feng had pulled out a bag mischievously. "I got some fireworks here!"

Unable to resist Na Na jumped up and rummage inside for some sparklers. All four of them had their fun with setting off the fireworks one by one. Na Na lean against Qing Yang and said, "This reminded me of another meeting we had in the past."

"Yeah..." Qing Yang said, "You were special even though quite so serious to try to make me happy."

"Well now we got more memories together." Na Na said.

Qing Yang pull her into a hug, "Yeah, I am glad you stayed."

"Me too..." Na Na whispered watching Zi Feng light another one and Ya Nuo jumping up and down in excitement like a kid. "Though next time...lets leave behind the children."

Qing Yang gave a laugh, "They are quite fun...unless they are fighting."

"Well this is our family." Na Na reminds.

"Don't remind me..." Qing Yang makes a pain face that Na Na whack him with her hand in jest. 

"You love them." Na Na teases. 

Qing Yang said, "I am pretending not to notice that."

The party of their bonfire drew to an end, and all four headed back after dousing the fire out and covering and cleaning up. They went back to the coffee house where some rooms would be available for them.
