Guo Lai (come here) was a small vicarious bunny. She love her human parents and was quite out going with the two. If she was to confess she like her dad more. It wasn't because her mom wasn't fun to be with playing with her. It was because her dad always gave her food.

Hay was her favorite food on tops to any type of pellets or vegetables her presented to her. Mama always poked and prods her and she is fine with it just not when she was eating. She is still a small baby and needed her yum yums.

If her mama want her to go to her she could just offer her some carrots. She like being petted and most of the time she enjoy the calm feeling between her parents. However, one day her mama wasn't around and she could sense the sadness in her father.

He did not play with her like Mama did and so she didn't move as much just sitting and watching him work. She always wonder why all these hard glass substances was always around and a scent if a bean would linger around. When Mama wasn't around he kept her close. Bringing her carriage to his room the place was different and he let her hop around to explore. His soothing tone as he talked just like Mama was comforting.

Then one day she was pulled up and staring at a box that her father always carried around. Inside was an image of her mama. Her ears twitched at the noise of 'Guo Lai' her mother turned into a box. Was that why she couldn't touch or pet her?

Is this why her dad was sad? Did the box swallow her mother? Perhaps the box was containing her mother. Her mind was distracted when her father kissed her brow and set her down beside a bowl of hay.

It would take a few more days before she heard familiar sounds and the presence of her mother coming in. Her father hands drag her from her carriage and she was pressed against familiar legs. Sniffing she notice the smell of blood and not pleasant herb smells. Twitching she hop and sat on her mother. The talking between dad and mama put her back to sleep.
