Descendant of the Sun Recap Episode 10
From the previous episode Argus is shot by Fatima and now the doctor is facing a dilemma whether to save Argus or let him die. Shi Jin just tell her to simply save him because that is her oath and she cannot break it.
Fatima is still insistent that they should let him die and well lets just say that in a world in mid-war with a mercenary such as this guy it is understandable the issue that is being faced.
Finally deciding on Shi Jin words she said she need to treat him and so Shi Jin tell the other guys in English that they need to move him to the tent. There Mo Yeon started to dig out the bullet while Fatima betrayal friend is helping to hold him down. Shi Jin still holding his gun on the henchmen of Argus. Dae Young's voice comes over the radio trying to call Shi Jin. Argus comes out already bandages and said they should get a move on since the Korean Army is coming. He then tell Fatima to go with him with a threatening smile, however Mo Yeon stated that Argus should get to the hospital since he would need medicine and treatment that she doesn't have while he is bleeding still. Argus said that he would be seeing Fatima but Shi Jin inform the man that his patience is becoming thin so the man leaves with his henchmen.
The next scene is where Dae Young with a bunch of the army men are lifting the Phantom village children to the jeep to transport to the base for treatment. At the base Mo Yeon is helping out still drench in blood on her clothes and hands, they ensure the children are vaccinated or cured. Doctor Song nonchalantly tell Mo Yeon to get herself cleaned up.
At the basin, Mo Yeon is washing the blood off her hands and thinking to the time where she is treating Argus and he mocks her telling her that she shouldn't stay near Shi Jin because he is a dangerous man and that she could get hurt by being next to him. Nurse Choi Min Jae comes along to tell her that Fatima wants to run away. Mo Yeon heads over and presents bread and milk to Fatima. Fatima throws a tantrum in regards to Mo Yeon saving Argus life. She argues that it doesn't matter if Mo Yeon save her from being a murderer because she never live in war before. Mo Yeom tells the girl to eat and to pull herself together if she wants to run away.
In the cafeteria of Hae Sung the manager of the surgical room is reporting to Doctor Pyo Ji Soo and the others on their adventures in Uruk. He describes that the power station when they arrive at the area was buried deep in the ground and that the ground kept on cracking while dumper trucks were crumpled like beer cans. Doctor Kim look totally disbelieving of their tales she asked why they stay and why didn't they want to come home.
The manager said that they of course wanted to come back but there were some patients to look after and there was a shortage of doctors too. He said that even though it might sound like a big deal they do feel sorry that they left first. Doctor Jang, Wife of Chi Hoon came along to ask where her husband is and why he didn't come back since he was definitely on the passenger list.
The manager said there is a patient that needed to come back to Korea for treatment and that is why he gave up his seat and she asked why he isn't answering her phone.
Doctor Song checking the children stated that the guy look like something is chasing him. Nurse Choi is confused by whom he is referring too. Doctor Song said the Manager that Chi Hoon gave up his seat for. Nurse Hae said that they tried to find the guy but couldn't and that the plane left without him. Doctor Song being a goof ball asked if that person got on then...and Nurse Hae asked who?
He said his soul.
Nurse Hae is exasperated whilst Nurse Choi said she love it when Doctor Song makes such jokes. Girl...I don't understand why you would find that attractive. Sure Nurse Choi finds it funny and even though Nurse Hae is all being serious she said she likes it too. Well she fooled me!
Mo Yeon and Lieutenant Yoon are both checking supplies in the medic cube. Both are discussions about the measles and that they should be okay since they have enough vaccines. Mo Yeon appears worried about the ten children left in the village and said that she should go with them there. Lieutenant Yoon said that Mo Yeon is tactless and that Sergeant Major Seo will be in charge tomorrow.
Getting the idea as to why Myung Joo didn't want her to go. (Myung Joo wants to go on a date with Seo Dae Young) Mo Yeon asked her if it would be the morning time she goes...there. Myung Joo is a bit weird out by how nice that Mo Yeon is and Mo Yeon statement that she must be more generous then Myung Joo thought was a great come back. She tells Myung Joo to take good care of herself and heads off. Then Mo Yeon heads off, Myung Joo looks disappointed that Mo Yeon doesn't even care if she is mean to her. Guess bullying not working.
The date between Seo Dae Young and Myung Joo are in jeep heading away from base.The conversation went from flirting to basically serious talks where Dae Young is trying to get opinion from Myung Joo on his retirement from the army, though he isn't asking directly at all. This pairing is frustrating in a way because one way or another they are trying to conceal themselves from the other in order to spare each others feelings.
Entering the haunted village the children and all occupants that were left in there were gone. The town is empty. Taebaek Corps the General states that Argus is a black market smuggler of weapons. The CIA requested the Korean army's cooperation and that they would not be able to touch Argus because of Colonel Amang involvement where Argus would be selling the guns too him.Yoo Shi Jin is upset because he wanted to go after Argus, however now the upper tier is telling him to let it go and let the CIA continued his job.
This upsets Yoo Shi Jin. Dae Young reports that the children were gone from the haunted village, he is updated regarding Argus and that their troops would not be interfering with him. The information is confidential between him and Dae Young. Outside Yoo Shi Jin pulls off his pack and relaxes on the wall while thinks about Argus. Mo Yeon appears and offers him a coffee cup drink stating he would need it more since he look like he needs sugar.
Mo Yeon asked what happened to the children, but Shi Jin lies to her telling her that they already transfer the children and they are being treated. Goodness knows this might go back to bite him in the butt for that lie. Yoo Shi Jin was going to touch Mo Yeon and she screams her hair is dirty and she hasn't wash her hair yet. Being a good boyfriend he ties her hair back with a hair tie. (In the BTS Joong Ki totally didn't know what he was going so it looks very messy)
I can tell that Shi Jin takes comfort and strength from Mo Yeon. Miss B radios in to let her know that parcel from Korea had arrive and she is all excited. Shi Jin comments whether Korean parcels were important then him. She said of course he is important but left to get the boxes.
When she goes there she sniffs the parcel and states that it smells like Korea. She also noted Dae Young's box and indicated she would bring it to him. Doctor Song runs in and pulls the parcel up and states that the shoes he bought is for her. He said that her shoe size is 240mm but Nurse Hae said her shoes size is 230 mm even as he is being a goof ball jumping around saying ' it's okay no one will know.' We can see that Nurse Hae is touched by his considerate gift.
Mo Yeon places down her parcel and glances at Dae Young's box. She radios in to the boys and said that Shin Ji Young's parcel had arrived for Dae Young. The boys looking at each other is shocked by the parcel and immediately takes off flying like the devil is on their tail. 
Dae Young immediately asked where Mo Yeon is and Myung Joo obviously knew that the parcel is from a woman that is not any relative. Mo Yeon doesn't know much about him so of course she is clueless as she shakes the box curiously. HAHA She is like a child.
Myung Joo said that Dae Young is an only child and opens the box to note the photograph and the letter. 'The day I met Shi Jin I am sending our memories.' The girls are jealous and angry that Mo Yeon told Myung Joo to get her gun. The boys burst in panting and both guys are trying to cover up everything. Dae Young said that one of the girls is his cousin an flight attendant. Both guys are unable to answer which girl was the cousin and both men are doomed since they answer opposite of one another.
Dae Young then ratted out Shi Jin saying he helped set up an date for Shi Jin. The two boys are bickering but then Mo Yeon stated for Shi Jin to follow her. Dae Young was going to follow, but Myung Joo stop him and Shi Jin headed out. Both men are doomed.The three men of alpha team were paying the bet of whether the boys went on a blind date. Well Snoopy lost and that it really was a blind date in Seoul. The argument going on whereas Myung Joo said she thought it was her father that was the obstacle and Dae Young confirmed which almost got him killed since only Myung Joo can bad mouth her dad. HAHA
The two conversations are going in sync and Mo Yeon is interrogating Shi Jin in regarding to the date and how many people he went to look at and how she was fooled by him. The two boys stated they were only drinking tea and driving the girls back to the University. The story all has holes in it between the two men. I absolutely love how the director cut here and there with the conversation making it all coherant.
Mo Yeon is shocked, because Chi Hoon should have called his wife, but he hasn't been doing so. Chi Hoon is trying to treat the guy that he abandon by administering a painkiller, but the guy doesn't believe him and gives him a hard time. Chi Hoon leaves and is outside crying, when Mo Yeon radios but he isn't answering.
Blackie is comforting Chi Hoon saying he is sick, most likely sick from sadness and guilt. Mo Yeon is looking for Chi Hoon and got a radio stating that the locker in the medical cube was broken in. Mostly all painkillers were stolen. Fatima was immediately suspected and Mo Yeon radios it in to go search for the kid.
Fatima is on a pay phone calling Tommy her boyfriend stating she stole the narcotics drugs and that they will sell it and run away together. Shi Jin brings Mo Yeon to the bar to talk to Valentine to find information about black market narcotics and the girl Fatima. He said they are trying to help the girl that is fifteen years old. They tracked her to an abandon warehouse area.
Tommy with his gang are holding up Fatima and the man is all pleased that the girl was stupid. Shi Jin arrives with Mo Yeon and they gotten into an issue, Shi Jin was placing down his gun slowly and instantly snatches up the other boys gun, since firing his own gun was load of paperwork for him. Mo Yeon went into the car and waited for the other two, but instead she didn't see him and decided to drive the car. Breaking into the warehouse and almost running down the boys. She then backs up almost running over Shi Jin, but he got out of the way luckily. He pick up his gun that was on the floor and drives off with Fatima. Mo Yeon is all happily chattering that it is exciting and going against the bad man.
Shi Jin still peeved that Mo Yeon almost run him over. But once again another car bites the dust due to Mo Yeon's driving and handling. The army would be bankrupt with how much the two go through cars.
Dae Young and the crew are at the minefield area which Shi Jin and Mo Yeon ran through. Dae Young is thinking about what talk he had with the General regarding him quitting and becoming a business man if he wants his daughter. Dae Young is still trying to contemplate what to do or his decision. Dae Young scold Myung Joo for not being in the safe zone, but she said that it was boring to be in the safe zone.
Myung Joo pull rank again and told him to approach her and she started to apply sun screen onto Dae Young's face. Both were going to kiss one another when Shi Jin interrupts radioing he need a car to come to the crossroad. He said the car stalled, but Dae Young answers because he cannot ignore him. Mo Yeon is scolding Fatima stating she will help fund the girls education since she is smart, but that the fund is not free and that she need to pay her back.
Shi Jin admires Mo Yeon for her kind heart, but also said it must be tough on the income of money she earns. Shi Jin tries to touch Mo Yeon hair, but she claims that she didn't wash her hair. Mo Yeon is back in base and enjoying the fan from above since she wash her hair. Shi Jin asked her if she would like to have ramen, since he has some packets. In addition, he said that she must be rich, but lending a hand and taking more responsibility is tough. 
The ramen arrived and as both get ready to eat the food the lights went off. Shi Jin solves the issue by presenting the night vision options of eating in the dark. Quite interesting, reminds me of those diners where you are eating in the dark. But here you can see everything in another shade of color haha. Mo Yeon mentions that she would like to play football so she can brag she play football with the army. Quite Cute.
Inside a room inside Uruk, we see Manager Jin was going to the bathroom and sound like he suffer a rupture when going to get the diamonds out of his stomach. A knock happened and he takes the forgery passport and reswallow the fecal matter diamonds. Then went to head out to get out of Uruk, however he was taken by the Mowuru police.
Shi Jin and Dae Young were talking about what happened to Manager Jin. The boy Min Jae stated that the Manager Jin had a fist amount of diamonds and that he had blood on his trousers too. This was enough information to informed Shi Jin and Dae Young what was going on. Both sense something bad was going on and that they would need to go investigate and though Dae Young complains he would have to write a long report, he was willing to do for this operation.
In Argus base Mr. Jin is being searched and finally Argus decided to open up Manager Jin because he suspect the diamond is inside the guy. The alpha team breaks into the base and took the target away, and instead of taking down Argus they retreated since they aren't suppose to interfere with Argus, but instead they were busy with one of their own Manager Jin.
Cuff to a medical bed, Manager Jin is being interrogated by Shi Jin but the manager look incredibly sick, he still denies about the diamonds. Mo Yeon comes in and show Shi Jin the x-ray of the diamonds. Manager Jin immediately cough up diamonds and Mo Yeon notes that the diamonds are causing internal bleeding.
So they are hurrying up to do the surgery. However, Doctor Song isn't doing the surgery rather it would be Myung Joo, because Doctor Song doesn't feel well. Both are going through surgery cutting and that is when blood spurt out hitting both Mo Yeon and Myung Joo. Mo Yeon notices that the pop was a lymphatic gland and that something is wrong. Mo Yeon order everyone to get their hands off the table and back away. She is doing diagnosis and comes to the conclusion it is a viral infection a M virus status and that they would need to get the others out since only Myung Joo and hare are contaminated and that both would still continued to do the surgery.
Dae Young and Shi Jin are informed from Doctor Song on what M virus is and both are freaking out once they heard Ebola virus and went hurrying tot he surgery area. Inside Nurse Hae is taking blood, whilst Shi Jin asked if Mo Yeon is sick. Mo Yeon all calm stated they need to wait for test results. Dae Young mention Myung Joo's name and she said he ran faster here compare to when he ran for the stewardess. Shi Jin asked what Mo Yeon wanted and she asked him the question regarding the steward and he answer honesty, because he is taking everything as her last will. The issue of where hospital lab would be available but there is an American lab and Shi Jin immediately place the phone call while Dae Young ran to grab the car. Both men went to the lab area and the Americans said that an virus outbreak is their problem too. Mo Yeon and Myung Joo check on the patient and both are talking to one another.
The results came out that it is confirmed to be M3 virus. A patient tested positive and one of the doctors tested positive. Both men are scared out of their wits, while back in the facility both Myung Joo and Mo Yeon are looking at the blood diamonds. Mo Yeon asked how much they would be work and would anyone know how many was inside if they take one each. Myung Joo stated she didn't think Mo Yeon was this way, but she is incredibly wise. Both obviously joking. Dae Young violated protocol and entered the lab hugging Myung Joo.
Shi Jin entered but stay far away it is obvious by the reaction and Myung Joo said that its her. That she is the one that has the virus.
