Summary: The point where Baek Ah throws a fit.

 

Once Upon a time.

Baek Ah position was name as the thirteenth prince. In Goryeo the number was not seem as evil like the number four. Baek Ah was good friends with the fourth prince because he wasn’t an idiot. He knew the world and understood the interpersonal skills when it came to dealing with commoners.

He also held the talent of drawing images of places and people. There would be days outside where the fourth would hide in the gardens and he would either play his instruments of draw the vegetation nearby. It was peaceful and quiet the way he liked it.

Though he did not venture too close to the other man he could appreciate the finer and commonly items in the world.

To him the fourth was a hero being held as ransom and at the same time he held a higher value on what could be seen as wasteful in Baek Ah’s mind. Baek Ah didn’t believe slaves were slaves though they had their uses. He understood that what he had was him being born into and not through his own merit.

The same couldn’t be said for the fourth Prince whom had to scrap and move along to achieve what he needed to gain. It wasn’t until Soo’s magical abilities that the scar disappeared and the Fourth became more approachable for him.

It also meant that there is unrest in the kingdom though he does enjoy seeing potential not wasted, but there are certain brothers such as the younger that makes him extremely made when they do not understand the time and effort when it came to creating and making the items they take for granted.

Baek Ah found a woman that appreciates these things and he would constantly dream and think about her. Though she was harsh on him, he wanted her greatly in his life.
