A dark-haired girl opened the door to find an expected room that she knew before arriving. It's empty. No one comes to this room. Her room, not even her husband. They both were married and yet they share separate rooms.

Her coughs worries her that she would interrupt her husbands slumber and so she suffers by herself daily in this cold room. Stepping into the room she shut the door quietly behind her and sat down on the vanity desk.

Then remembers the memory of how her husband would stare at her cousin. Lady Hae was not blind her husband desires another. She couldn't grant him the splendors of a child, but her purpose was to help elevate him when she saw him for the first time.

Outside the palace exiled as a Prince due to circumstances not within in his control. She fell for him then and inwardly her mind whispers, 'I want him.'

So she went and gained him, but never his heart, because it was so hard to reach for her. Myung Hee wasn't surprised that his eyes would turn to the youthful child that was Hae Soo. She felt sometimes it was fate that she was sick and that this lively child came to live with them.

The door echoes with a single knock and a soft voice calls out, "Lady Hae...do you need help?"

That was her servant girl and she always refused them even though inwardly she wishes they would help warm her cold room. She was useful to her husband, but only so much in helping to bring them back to the royals. Yet, she felt so gone and useless when it came to other moments to ease his suffering.

So she gave in. She beg to her mother in law to let Hae Soo take her place to marry Wang Wook. She wanted her husband to be happy instead of the constant visits to that cold palace pitted against one brother or another. If she knew her interference would have turn this way she might have never approach and told her parents to arrange their marriage.

His sleep was wrought with worries and the constant strain on his face when there was problems.She just want to see him smile happily and carefree like, because he no longer was hers. Perhaps he never was ever hers.
