Summary: The agony of dating someone that is in military.
I am sorry.
The words continue to echo in her dreams and like any she awakens to an empty room and empty hope. Sometimes during periods if lucid exhaustion she would spot a familiar figure from the side of her eyes and when turning there will be no one.
She catches herself each time even of periods if saving lives. She could feel him chime to save them and so driven by whether her fist or hands she beat the life back into her patients. Since the one man in her life was gone.
She was his girlfriend but even to that point she felt the military never inform her of anything else except his demise and those horrific lies.
Death by training accident. He was a hero...well now past tense. They would never be honor for those cloak and dagger missions. Her man...obscured to the blink of a freak accident. No talks of whom he saved. No gratitude from this country.
Was this how it was supposed to be?
She was thankful for her team. They supported her by not coddling her Ji Soo feeding her and the action of each person to make her feel warm.
But they could never drive away these phantom moments she see in her home. Where he would sit and talk to her. Regrets expressed with a bitter sweet feeling that was a knife to her heart.
